Shoot i missed you post. well i went to him next day again. Now Toyota manual says to release CSD using a screw driver and to rotate it around 20 degrees. Next day i did that, and to my surprise moving CSD did not moved the gauge value at all (i tried at various location).

So now my i have set it at 0.8mm with csd released.

I do feel improvement in pick, its sort of constant, not as good as i expected yet i get it even on flyovers (means good torque).
For the first time i i touched top speed of 140 (could not try more may be it could have touched 145).
Previous top speed at maximum was i guess close to 130.

Now i frequenctly note that i touch 100-110 while over taking people (means over all good pick in all gears)

Fuel consumption increased to 10.8 (hard foot city driving)
Its used to be 10.2 (relatively softer foot at that time)
and before that i was 8.6 to 9km/l but got improved when i used liqui moly fuel system cleaner (don't find the purge).

Now main thing, blow by is still there, oil still getting consumed.

Liqui moly purge, or may be pump complete tuning would change anything??

Yes i know, i reached 13s on long route, motorway. Now probably i may achieve 14.5 as well.

But its 4wd so probably efficiency will not be as good as other diesel sedans.

to my disappointment i achieved only 12.72 km/l on M2 this week, while return efficiency was only 11.76, although i was stuck in traffic at different point while going, while return trip was free of any traffic.

I already service pump from Sahiwal diesel pump service Garden (veryknown Dieasel lab) they change router and clean the nozzles etc, I also adjust Shims as out of 08 six where total out therefore adjusted, in the end I got only 8 to 9 km/L in city and 10 km /L in highway with out AC.

Pl advice how do I get calibrate my pump etc with 100% accuracy.

I talked to cummins other day, they said Diesel Lab will shift Lahore in a month, 15k for calibration and around 6k for shipment. Check if they are still calibrating in karachi, you may save the shipment money.

I am in contact with cummins from may 2015, all machinery lying in Karachi office already shifted to Lahore and Lahore operations also closed since long, every time I ask lahore office about when restart their operation they say with in two or three weeks,
Is their any other LAB in Karachi doing the same Job as Cummins do ?

The nozzle breaking pressure for your toyota 2C would be 135 bar for old and 145 bar for new. The diesel injection pump advance at TDC should be 0.90mm plunger stroke - after first pulling the cold start advance to disable it. Internal pump pressure should be 44 psi at idle speed.

All nozzles should be calibrated to within 5 bar of each other, this pressure coupled to the plunger advance of the pump is what determines injection point and ignition timing for the engine.

I have 1990 Toyota 2.0D 2C engine, i set Nozzle at 145 bar break pressure and Pump timed at 0.8mm befor TDC

I just followed a manual i had, but now you mention different values for Old.

By old do u mean some specific older models or do you mean sufficiently used car.

I have 172k on the odo, what Pump timing and Nozzle break pressure would you recommend.

My engine reduces oil, that seems to be increased since i timed the pump to 0.8mm b4 TDC, it was previously set at 0.64 mm.

In my 2D i get 21 km/l last week on GT road from isl to gujrawala ,,,,,,, just one passanger/driver and I haven’t cross speed of 90 km ,,,,,,,,, with in city I always get around 380 Km in 2000 Rs diesel ………….
