That is the boost pressure pipe from the turbo - if you remove it the turbo air pressure would not lead into the engine.

my fault! i wrote it wrong or incomplete in my first post.
My mechanic removed that pipe to check whether the oil is coming from the turbo, and it was throwing a lot of oil. He replaced the turbo and the problem got fixed.
i hope now you understand correctly

I need ur opinion for a problem with toyota 2c diesel. Somedays ago, gaskit blown. although starting and pickup was very good.
mechanic replaced gaskit, faced head and installed everything back in. the car took a lot of effort to start. kabhi petrol ka geela kapra air intake par rakha, phir boht self marnay ka bad start hoi.
after sound is like engine is suffocating, pick in very decreased and car is heating up.
sometimes car shut down and refuse to start.
now mechanic is blaming that engine is very weak, and this problem arises after head gaskit change.
please advice what to do? I am suspecting following:
- head gaskit replaced is very thick
- head is faced too much
- valves are not working correctly
- timing is not matched properly while installing belt.
- gas kit is again blown.

brother w/o checking proper symptoms of blown Head Gasket you just changed the Head Gasket and faced the head. Might be some other problem and your mechanic has done some mistake and now he is saying engine is very weak. I have seen toyota 2C doing 400k kms and still breathing. If every thing was fine pick and startup with fuel economy the question is why did you listen to mechanic and put in HG w/o testing it properly. Was your car giving smoke, was the radiator water mixed with oil or the oil filler cap had milky residue?

Engine was rebuilt last year in April only rings were changed
Valve clearance is done
Glows are all checked all are ok
And no idea about timing cause mechanic didn't have proper tools to check timing

injection timing affects fuel and also oil consumption, The blue smoke at startup is usually the turbo burning oil, white smoke is unburnt diesel due to retarded timing. Make sure the pump is calibrated correctly.

Do modern Diesels need their Glow Plugs warmed up as well? What's the science behind them?

And, what happens if you start your car without warming up the Plugs?

diesel are compression ignition engines, they need heat to fire the fuel. the glow plug aids this. The modern direct injection diesels - specially big commercial ones have no glow plugs at all. they start up without assist.

The modern passenger car diesels have glow plugs but they almost never work in tropical climate.

Your problem seems to be retarded injection timing - whitish smoke is unburnt diesel fuel coming out the exhaust. Adjust the pump timing to proper specs, your starting issue will also solve itself once the pump comes to proper timing spec.

For acceleration I would give the whole airpath a good cleaning, disable the EGR and then up the fuelling through the LDA on the pump, your gen2 Pajero should pick up quite aggresively when it comes onto boost

that pressure release sound is excess boost pressure being dumped, check the charge pipe for tightness and please do not use jubilee clamps on the boost pipes - they are useless, you need a band clamp with T bolt for them.

Thanks alot sir charge pipe is the rubber pipe that is on the outside coming from the oil kupi am I right
