charge pipe is the turbo outlet going to the intercooler and then to the intake manifold.

Timing is advance and engine starts smoking white and run like it's gonna die
when retarded
All this was checked when engine was running . Mechanic twisted Ip and tried to adjust timing between advance and retard but no luck it's now full advance

With your situation

1 verify the cold start device is not siezed
2 check the pump camplate advance actually works
3 verify the injectors are spraying at correct pressure (you should feel all injector pipes water hammer effect to be equal)

did someone open the pump to mess with the fuelling spring capsule?

cold start device is not installed
Will also check injectors spray pattern and if I'm not wrong they were calibrated at 114 bar
And yes the pump wala had replaced that rubber gasket
which was placed between pump housing and top plate
Now I have no idea what fankari he done
And engine constantly run on 1.5k rpm because it's coupled with alternator

the Nissan TD27 will not make usable power at 1.5K rpm if the pump is not for generator set, the turbo does not make any usable boost pressure at that rpm and neither does the pump do any good.

Im assuming you got a turbocharged version.

If you have the old forklift version then it also requires atleast 2300 rpm to make usable torque.

Sorry I can't told you that it's not turbo engine but NA and pump is fixed at 1.5k rpm no problem regarding load or torque it's working fine but only starting problem I'm facing since 2 weeks

Ask the pump technician what he did - he might have messed up the governer in the pump that is causing the bad start, when the pump stops the fuelling governor goes to maximum fuel to enable a quick start. The pump camplate stays put. It only advances with internal pump pressure which is controlled by the pressure regulator built into the inlet of the pump, Low internal pressure means inadequate advance at speed.

Make sure the pump is set correctly. When you say that advancing it results in no change then the pump is not setup correctly. Usually such setups dont work good becuase these pumps are not for stationary constant load engines.

Sir i have corolla 2d 2006 model. I have done the engine over hauling few months back. Now it's tappets are giving noisy sound.
What would be the correct procedure to follow?

Ask the pump technician what he did - he might have messed up the governer in the pump that is causing the bad start, when the pump stops the fuelling governor goes to maximum fuel to enable a quick start. The pump camplate stays put. It only advances with internal pump pressure which is controlled by the pressure regulator built into the inlet of the pump, Low internal pressure means inadequate advance at speed.

Make sure the pump is set correctly. When you say that advancing it results in no change then the pump is not setup correctly. Usually such setups dont work good becuase these pumps are not for stationary constant load engines.

It's Friday and locally holiday in my area, I asked pump technician that what he did
He said he increased fuel level little bit and replaced a spring which is attached to pump throttle
He also advised me to replace pump with inline one it's works better than 've
What do you say about inline pump but I don't wanna change pump its working fine

I have recently rebuild a TD27 NA engine of a nissan D22. All is well except an annoying tick tick noise from top of tappet cover at idle and slight off idle positions. During driving its okay.

What we have checked so far:

1. Valve train.. from cam, lifters, rods, tappets, all checked.. all good.
2. Oil supply is good on tappets.
3. Head & internals rechecked

Now im going to focus on fuel system. A few things apparently wrong

1. One of the injector pipe seems different.. a bit thicker in size.. and the pulse in that injector is also feeble. Can this cause a major noise issue?
2. During the 1st ride.. I did notice a nozzle getting stuck.. a few revs and it cleared.. Possible incorrectly calibrated nozzles or delivery valves?

New nozzles were installed and pump was redone because it had leaky delivery valves. Starts up fine.. no smoke.. drives well.

On first start there is no tick tick.. rev it to at least 1000rpm and back to idle.. tick tick begins.. keep it idling upto 5 mins.. tick tick fades a bit but its still there.. I am planning to take it to another Pump wala as i have doubts on the earlier work done.

What can cause the tick tick at idle? Need your thoughts on this issue

that sort of sounds like nailing the way you are describing. Usually a case of bad spraying injectors, engine too cold or inadequate injector volume (air in fuel line) - you can try to isolate this noise by loosening the injector line and listening. You should also find a genuine injector line for that cylinder, All injector lines should have equal length and diameter for accurate injection timing.

If the guy cannot adjust a simple VE pump - forget about him adjusting an inline pump, it has each cylinder as variable and needs a very good test bench to adjust fuel volume.

To adjust this engine I would suggest you first disable the alternator/gearbox and then adjust the pump settings by the book so it starts easily - then reload the accelerator, I can assure you it wont be very good as this engine's pump is not made for stationary use. btw how are you controlling the speed governor? does it let go of the accelerator when the engine shuts down?

I have 2 td27 engines one was build in 2009 and still working like horse but the new one have this starting problem
Both engines pump are calibrated from same technician
I don't have much knowledge about pump but to my knowledge speed governor is controlled with that spring and it shuts down like other engines

By speed governor Im saying the injection pump's internal speed governor - on a VE pump it works off centrifugal advance with petals in it that push against a lever to close fuelling at max rpm. When the pump comes to zero rpm (engine off) the governor goes to maximum fuel (hence the black smoke you normally see at start)

there should be a puff of black smoke as soon as an engine starts,

inline pumps have individual fuelling elements for each cylinder, while the VE type has one element which rotates and pushed fuel in each cylinder - the inilne pumps have an insanely long life due to this but are nearly impossible to adjust without a certified and calibrated test bench. They also have their own set of issues like oil mixing if the lift pump etc goes bad.
