diesels dont have manifold vacuum - check the valve cover for the leak problem - there is a baffle inside the cover whose job is to remove oil from the vapor.

Oh I see, please also tell, i am thinking to check Valve clearance tomorrow, what bad will happen if i replace SHIMS with the grinded shims as originals are not available with Toyota outlets.

The hose from the valve cover should go lower that the hose going back to the intake.

Whats ur situation?

Well my 2C engine seems to run perfectly except for a little "tik-tik" noise and a little bad gasket at the front of the oil pump area that leaves little oil stains. Starts easily cold or hot, pulls great, revs good until 4000rpm (but I never do often), no thick smoke, and I think still runs silent as compared to many 2C engines I have seen here in Manila.

I get about 6-8km a liter due to bad traffic here in Manila, and I do get around 12-14km a liter on out of town trips. I dont blame the engine but the traffic instead.

Plus my tires were too small

Na i don't think Aerodynamic matters at town speeds, but its 4x4 and a heavy vehicle as compared to sedans.

Mine is 90 corolla, but 4x4 transmission, that may reduce mileage but even that i should get 13s.

What is this car btw?

80000km according to toyota, always go for GL4 toyota's original gear oil.

I also want advise on replacing clutch plate fluid replacement of corolla 2D.
What are the recomendations.
The filler Cap says replace only with DOT 3 fluid.

Clutch oil its told by one of my friend..
Its container or filler is beside brake oil filler.
From outside to inside its next to brake fluid filler.
