Do they tune diesel engines properly according to manual and have dial guage???

I am from peshawar, i would have gone to lahore for tunning but now i have ordered dial guage will get in a month IN SHA ALLAH

Dear @Xulfiqar my car (toyota 2c engine) is having excessive blowby when open engine oil cap---since i will receive dial guage next month purchased in Gulf...
While doing timming belt job i also changed tapper cover seal and timming seal and oil pump O ring--it was leaking...now it stopped leaking from there no leak under the engine but tapper cover is leaking like anything

Since it has excessive blowby, rings seem to be worn out...

What should i do? Shall i wait for dial guage to time pump according to specs or do its ring job as tappet cover is leaking engine oil too much

According to mechanic rings are worn out so it will leak any weak spot...

@Xulfiqar sir today i perfomed timming of my 2C engine with dial guage and according to manual,it gae reading of 0.62mm, so it was retard and i advanced it to 0.81mm accurately...
Hot starting is too smooth now without any glow plug heater it instantly started even after driving some kms and on hot start

The only thing changed after this episode is engine noise become slightly loud, it was very quiet when 0.62mm timming and now 0.81mm according to manual but littlw loud...
So is it normal?? Engine a little noisy than before?

Great!

Now you know how critical timing with a dial gauge is.

For noise, check first what pressures are your injectors popping at.

Btw, did you disable the coldstart before timing the pump?

Yes, i did disable CSD exactly as how u said...and measured plunger stroke critically atleast 3 4 times,it was giving 0.62 mm reading, i timmed it on 0.81mm exact....

For noise i cant find pressure as i have no tools and i dont want any diesel lab to mingle with it as all are road side magicians...for now my car is perfectly fine just noise increase after timming...hot start is also awesome quick start

Remember this exercise you did the next time some magicians tell you that their “andaaza” is better than any special tool like a dial gauge.
