Rotten bushings are supposed to be replaced - they are available as spare parts. No totka can bring them back to life.

WD-40 isn't meant to be used on bushings.

my first hand car never saw oil at the undercarriage and no noises nothing.

my another 2nd hand bought car is squeaky as it is addicted to oil at its bottom. the oil has eaten most of the rubber parts already and guess what this car is new in model year than my first hand car.

Wd40 is petroleum based, its swelling the bushing which is bad.

Its like asking for a side effect of a medicine to cure something.

Yes, lots and lots of them. I used to maintain fleets of cars in Pakistan with agreed SLA.

I personally use a 18 year old toyota camry with 325000 kms on it. (I call it my khotagaari)

Ive driven it in a foot of water and also offroad. Engine never washed in 125k. It has a nice road grime coating on it and mud stuck to the undercarriage.

125k ago, i rebuilt the engine thats why I washed it.

Incidentally, I do own a 25 year old car. It doesnt have a single squeak (from the bushings) - I had its control arm, trailing arm, and sway bar bushings checked a few years ago when it was bought. All the faulty items were replaced. Its heavily used on IJP Road too (used by overloaded trucks coming from GT road) - that road hasn't been properly renovated for decades. No squeak from the suspension.

I get it washed, not serviced, once a month or so. The engine bay has never been pressure washed in my care.
