The technology is the same? I don't think cars in Pakistan are using differnet technology.

By the way... Which cars "don't" have ECT? Explain a bit more please.. You surprised me with that ans...

Point emphasised was that everything you say about cars seems to be about Cars in Canada and not Pakistan. Thats why I said its Pak wheels, not Canada Wheels. Now whether you call it Engine coolant Temperature Sensor or something else. We call it Automatic Radiator Fan switch here in Pakistan.

Yaar if its not installed, then your car is suffering from overheating problem. I hope your coolant system is not clogged. Plus you checked in the bottle. Please make sure the radiator is full as well.

A new thermostat costed me 700 rupees in Karachi. But dont get it installed yet.

There are many reasons for car overheating

one that i mentioned above. Second may be something is wrong with your water pump. Check for oil in the radiator as well. coz if there is , then head gasket is blown.

thermostat 4 khyber is around rs 650 and auto fan switch is around rs 400 here in lhr ur car is overheating check color of coolant in radiator if oil is there gasket is blown also another check 4 u dear
start car n warm it open radiator cap and rev engine u will see water is circulating through t rev it hi n u will notice more circulation if this happens then next step is to check if air bubbles r comin from radiator if com gasket has gone

also i said u above always fill radiator when engine is on rev engine will pull any air n u can put more water in it

dude there were no air bubbles poppin out wen i open the radiator cap n pushed the accelerator...
but the water was lyk TEA...lolol
uploading the pix.
the radiator cap is fully fine in shape n no water gettin out.
but i think the radiator has gone quite rusty.
so wat yew say???

How long has it been in the radiator, seems to me like more than 6 months.

Anyway, do a radiator Flush. Its very easy. Do an Engine flush as well.
Also, you didnt tell whether you saw water circulating in the radiator or not.??.

yeah man water was circulating.
but then a weird thing happened...
i did this in noon..
wen i was to go to cousins home in eve..
i strted the car n OH GOD..
the car didnt started.
actually wen chekng the radiator..i put water in radiator..
pta naw may b us ke wajah sy kuch ho gyaho..
the car was on gas n wasnt strtin.
then i called a frn..
v DHAKA strtd the car..
i dun knw wat went wrong...
i kept the car ON while puttin water in radiator...
the car was all fine in noon but in eve it sure diid sum shit but eventually petrol pay strt ho gae.....

Ermmm, I dont think that was related to cooling system problem. Abi start horahi hai???.. You might have some problem with your cng kit or something, there are threads on this forum which might help you. Anyway Do a radiator flush, it is very important. I think the murky water in your radiator has lost its property to cool. Water was circulating in radiator that means that your cooling system in not choked.

DO A RADIATOR FLUSH and tell us then. You might want to see crazy_rider 's reply as well. Just to see if he has something extra to add. But go ahead with the radiator flush.
