Hello people, I just bought an 07 Axio last month. In love with the car but the seat-belt warning is a pain in the a**. Anyways i want to clarify that i wear my seat belt but the beep gets annoying if someone else is riding with me on the passenger seat. So has anyone found out a way to disable the alarm?
Lolz. Wearing seatbelt is the best solution.
However, it keeps beeping for some time, i guess 3 minutes, and then it stops.
Another solution: buy a separate buckle from old parts market, and plug it.
Too many najaiz tajawizaat on my Signature Space!
I dont think its a Good idea of Buckle , In case of any accident seat belt sensors passes instruction to Airbags... If you spend more than 1.5 Million for your luxurious and safety than my sugesstion is that do not use Buckle.
Im also in search of this. But by the way, we should make habbit of fastening the seat belt. Anyway, u can stretch the belt from backside of the seat and put the buckle inside. this can also solve the problem.
once you put on seatbelt airbag is activated ... airbag has a safety range of 1 or 1.5 feet .. never put anything in seat belt byckle holder to silence the alarm ... and .. i don't think there is any other way to disable the alarm except for re-prog the software
When the belt is clasped - the airbag is armed and ready to fire. I have seen a death by it in Karachi - the angle at which the head was tilted was an alarming picture. The poor idiot also had a junk clasp in the receptacle and this car was a Honda Accord CL7 or 9.. To be honest I thought of it as one less bad genetics idiot off the face of the earth. Allah does work in his own ways.
So unless you want to die a "snapped neck" death - wear the belt or live with the beep. You can get to the beeper and desolder it from the circuit.
I know the solution as i did yesterday with my Corolla Gli.I will post pics of it tomorrow to show how you have to do it.
How daft, why not just wear your seat belt? It was designed for a purpose.
Please have a visit to Pakistan and ask anyone why they dont wear a belt, the answers rate like this
mentoo much worklook feeble - real men live life dangerouslyI cannot drive with the seat lying downmy ball$ say no
womenit massages me wrongtoo much hasslewhat seat belt
LOL, very accurate, nice observation
bhai seat belt laga liya karo
dont fool the beltput it on
it is good if u wear seat belt..i would again recommend to u wear seat belts at all time driving.still if u want to get rid of those beeps then their is a wire underneath the seat which is connected to the end of the buckle..unplug and you are done
Put it on bro,as everyone is sayingBe safe
that plug is part of the SRS system, undoing it will cause it to lock itself into an error code. But as I know that no amount of lessons can get a Pakistani citizen to wear a seat belt whilst driving in Pakistan because "loag/freinds/jigar mazak uraaenge - GO AHEAD.
First of all you should wear seat belts as it saves lives......But if you want to remove the warning there is a wire clip under the driving seat disconnect it, it will solve the problem....and plz do drive safe......
Arghh Last week I bought things so the warning light in my car (Rola 98)can work. I want the warning light a long with buzzer.
Seat belt is must.
Sorry for going off topic BTW Zulfiqar bhai I bought Corolla 96 steering with Airbag and it comes with no wiring or sensor hmm
What an ultimate fool are you!:S:-!
you need the SRS control module and all the associated wiring and sensors too
I always make my passengers wear seat belts. Alas, I do not have them on rear seats due to stupid Indus Motor Company not giving them in Xlis. What I tell passengers is that I do not want to see a red spot on my windshield in case of a collision and they happily comply.
