DIY : '89 Khyber LED Rear Light

its been a while that i ve been searching for LED rear lights or any kind of light that cud make my ride look better but cudnt find any..

so i thought y nt to get them custom made so i went to babu mahala to get an estimate. Well they made me rethink abt getting those lights done by asking a lil to much

So this brought me to this point that nw i ve strtd making Rear LED lights on my own and by DIY i mean that these things are really being done by my own hands and as i m accounting student this make me more than happy that i m doing this thing abt which i knw nothing...if someone said resistor i was like..Huh??!!

The Project is far from completion but wud be updating u guys frm time to time as this project proceeds

Till then this is wat i ve done.....So do give comments and also suggestion; And specially criticism wud be entertained :)

i dnt abt ur car but my car is 21 years old and i dnt think my car's wud be original by now
light cover can easily be removed
nd all covers will fade with time due to direct sunlight...and u cant get ur lights done without removing cover..

Sir Ji, my car is pretty much orignal and MASHALLAH in very good condition as it is 2000 and well maintained.

Just one more thing, if i remove the orignal cover is it possible to place it back in same condition ?

yes, it wont be a problem but make sure that u dnt break it while removing the cover

and to fit them back u need to remove old silicon glue as much as possible and use as much silicon to install the covers

all covers will fade with time due to direct sunlight...and u cant get ur lights done without removing cover..

No,
The Original lights never loose their colour.
The DEPO ones or the cheap replicas fade in sunlight but the OEM ones dont.

BTW Any updates on the project?

i sadi that lakin came to knw that brake switch was giving prob so i change it....

if u cant open frm back then remove the brake glass/plastic to clean

how to open brake light glass..isn't it sealed

wat i did was i cut the silicon wid sharp blade which is holding the glass in place........
