Okay i did some thing similar with my previous car this time i tried it with my 88 Rola.

Its very hectic i got sick during the 1st day and completed this in 4 days, for 3 days i was driving the car with no carpet or other things like center console and all

Do give your comments.

As you can see the carpet was very dirty.

I washed it with surf and metha soda for almost 4 times.

Also washed everything else with surf.

Also cleaned the floor of the car. It took me 3 hours to clean the floor. Its back breaking work and i got fever and flu still carried on

I did all this alone not a wise thing to do

I also redid the wiring where i thought old tape was wearing off.

I also re aranged few of the wirings. Also put some extra foam on places where i though carpet was kinda wearing off too quickly.

Ok now it was time to put back the cleaned carpet, and also polished the other stuff i took out for cleaning.

Also cleaned the seats but only with damp cloth. I was thinking of washing the seats as well but my flu and fever didnt allow me to work more than 7 hours on car today

BTW did i mention i also repaired the carpet? I repaired the placed where i thought its weak so this can last longer.

very very nicely done... the best thing is , u will enjoy driving immensely after all that work,After Proper cleaning ,Maroon interior looks very good .......

I have done similar kind of work on my Nissan sunny ,has similar Maroon interior ,
but did ,rub the car with 0% emery paper with soda &surf and then Compound polish it ...
But i didn't wash the inner carpet ,coz inner side of carpet was made of foam like material ,but did wash the floor....and it was worth it.....
But i did all this in 1 days with the help of my brother ,and I had an experience of doing this in past as well ,so i complete in 1 day...
but it was very hectic ,raat ko need nahi ai pain sai.,.pura week pain rahi body mai......
