the following weekend zunny visited his friend n brother in law,Hassan Choudary sahab!. Hassan choudrys place is one such place where cruisy loves spending time. There she finds lots of cool,spoilt ,rich kids like her where there is plenty of space to run around or even sleep(garages) hassan bhai loves the company of hassan bhai as he is friendly n very caring.she has always been greeted well like a younger sister unlike the pervert colleagues n some friends of zunny who treat her like a ......(u know what) hassan bhai cleans his feet when he sits, he never closes the door harshly as he is a kind caring n sensitive person.he understands how i would feel if he banged my doors hard. He also advises my WOH! (sharam aa rahee hae! ) to dress me up. He advises nice food(engine oil n lubricants) n cosmetics for me! I just love you hassan bhayya! Furthermore my woh loves the sweet compnay of hassans mother. She is such a lively n loving mother. She takes care of my woh n gives him nice food to eat. She makes one of the best teas n is always sending things to my woh. She appreciates me aswell n discusses me with her son n my woh.she instantly loved me when she saw me for the first time.! My woh and hassan bhai discussed how i was fixed after many months n all my body parts were now functioning... Then after half an hour hassan bhai n my woh came in n sarted opening me again NAHEEEEEEE NOT AGAIN!!!!!i cant takee it anymore plz nooooooooo!

I was wrong.Hassan bhai is n always would remain like an elder brother to me. He n my woh spent six hours only to make me closer to my lover.he had the audio controls working.it had made us come more closer just like the intial days when we first met n we went out on our first drive. My woh instantly fell in love with me n left the middle class Alti n his ex aunty Rolla. She was a typical muthiyaar. valentine was approaching.my lover had already fell even more deep in my love with the activation of the audio controls. Yet zunny wanted to take his love to the next level. A level at which no one had gone before. He wanted the right buttons of the steering wheel to work aswell as he would not like it when people would praise his efforts n would gasp at the audio controls but when any nerdy would ask do the cruise buttons work?if not then why are they here for?just show shaa? Zunny coudnt take it so he took out time n went to hassan bhais place. He opened me up n tried hooking up some wires as he thought he was a smart a*ss n as he had done the audio controls he could mange the cruise 1s with no problem at all. But Alas! After spending all day on 2 Feb 2011 despite having Hassan Bhai's help aswell we failed. Tried everything but still that greeen Cruise Main N Cruise Control light would just not turn on. Just like our begeret politicians who are least pushed what happens in the country no matter how much you protest or chatter on talk shows nothing absolutely nothing would change! Our valentine after a week was ruined due to zunnys mode. I tried pleasing him by odediently doing n saying what zunny wanted by the touch of his left thumb but nothing could make zunny glad. He was dejected n let down by me.he had worked so hard n again strted research after giving up hope. Zunny wanted something more from me or was he fed up of me?was he going to leave me?did he find some1 else?.....Naheeeeeeeeen....

something was cooking behind the scenes.zunny was anooyed. He would not spend much time with me. He would be busy talking on the phone or surfing the web.he had lost interest in me.he would spend hours n hours away at nite on his phone after turning off the lights. it was noon.the hot winds of May were blowing with there fiercest intensity.i was parked ahead of Alti (i feel sorry for her sometimes,she always has to do the dirty jobs.yet she remained faithful n odedient to zunny. But then i think CHOROO YAAR APNI APNI QISMAT HAE! The door bell rang n a person inquired from zunnys helper khalid, 'sahab haen?' . 'No he is asleep' said khalid. Please give him this tell him Fawad sahab had sent it from Sialkot! 'jee acha' was khalids answer. When zunny woke up due to the excessive loadshedding he went down to the ktchen for a glass of water. He saw a parcel wrapped in newspaper(no it wasnt what u think which is usually wrapped in newspaper n u get from whisky shops!) zunny likes opening parcels like any other human! What was inside it? Was it a bird?was it a plane?was it that silly superman? NO. It was a new 2010 LX sedan 4 door Honda Civic instrument Cluster which Fawad's brother brought along from the Obama land! But why did zunny need a new cluster? The old 1 was working just as good. Another operation of mine..........naheeeeeeee!

After the break we might have to change channels from str plus to 1980s afternoon PTV where they use to show you how to put diesel in a Fiat Tractor using a funnel! It used to take half an hour to demonstrate that. No dud dun dun shh shh shh....!

On 14th May 2011 zunny installed his new tachometer n when he powered my up n did the diagnostic test n what did he see? Have a look for urself!

the debate which arises is why a new tachometer. Well the Pakistani tachomemter cluster does not have the 'cruise main' n cruise control icons. As per some members you cann see the cruise main n cruise control icons on the PKDM cluster. True you can but the circuit inside is not present. Hence our local cluster wont work. I opened the front black card n found there was no LEDs inside.I havent tried installing them neither as i do not think it would work. Hence bought a new cluster after researching online. Any 8th gen tacho having cruise control in it will work. The only think to keep in mind is that there are different tachos for auto n manual trannies. I got mine from the states. But as the civics in dubai also have cruise control in them. So just source 1 from dubai. When Pakwheeler Qalunder was installing cruise in his civic he sourced all the parts in dubai. We had a chat and i told him what all was required

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:

1. Tachometer instrument cluster.
As mentioned earlier i souced mine from the US. It cost me roughly $100 .new from Honda Atlas costs approx a whooping Rs 25,000 !! OEM HONDA PARTS ARE DAMN EXPENSIVE! It was brought in a sarkari officers personal lugguage so he manged to get it through without custom etc. Its weight is less than 300 grams! Yep it looks damn heavy but its really light. So u can get it from the US, thailand,singapore dubai etc etc. It took me quite some research n then made up my mind to buy 1.
As per the DIY threads in Thai n 8gencivicclub it had to be changed n no shortcut whatsoever. So guys this is a must. PWer 'Getcruised' who is advertising he can do you the cruise for 60k for oriel n 70k for ivtec prsomatec. It includes all the parts n labour.i wont comment on the price as its not in my scope. Getcruise has sourced all his items for dubai.
So 1st n foremost is the replacement of the tacho.......start searching u might find some in Sher Shah,Bilal Gunj or Shoba Bazaars. Hurry while stocks last! As per fouadbakht(viper) he saw many tachos especially automatec tranny 1s in shoba n as per him they have cruise control icons! What are you guys doing here go run n get them ASAP.! Fouad replaced his tacho with an optitron tacho of his ivtec n he got it from Shoba!

THINGS U WILL NEED!

1. next in the list is the Audio n Cruise control switches or a Complete steering with the buttons as shown in first page. Buying a whole steering makes easier buy you can nevertheless buy the controls separately n mount em on your existing steering. The cost of the switches ranges from 10-15k. U will have to search around a bit to buy them as they arent a routine maint item. Yet available at quite some dealerships across the world. Maybe 'Fireblade' or Cylestyne will guide us as they frequently import reborn stuff. please note: NOT AVAILABLE WITH PAKISTANI DEALERSHIPS so ull most probably have to buy it from abroad
   As far as the steering is concerned you can buy a used in the range of 10k-35k depending upon condition. Some are leather wrapped others arent. Some have japanese written on them n others english.some are US pattern which are frankly speaking Fugly! So the price has this much variation. These are available at some scrappies. You will need to order 1 from abroad or look around alot. Lucky if you get a nice 1. Though this doesnt seem like an appropiate forum but ive a spare 1 up for sale in the buyers n sellers section n ive sorted out the interior wires for the cruise acoording to our local civic to make it work. Why? Our clockspring is a bit different. Details to follow.

THINGS U WILL NEED

3. BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH
our local civics have a two pin switch as Atlas Honda never wanted us to enjoy a bit of luxury thus they gave us the 2 pin switch. You will need a 4 pin switch as we will have to connect to wires form here. The cost is around 1k n its available in most of the dealersh*ts readily have them. Unfortunately u will have to source it from abroad. But theres GOOD NEWS!!!
u really can get away by using the same 2 pin switch and using a 4 point relay which is available with all electrician. Buy a good quality preferably japanese brand! Cost RS 50~100 .woohoo!! Just Rs 100 !!!!!!

THINGS U WILL NEED

1. WIRES
   4 x wires of approx 16 inchs length (from clockspring out to tacho) normal guage same used for audio controls
   1 x wire of approx 4 to 5 feet . It should be a bit thick. (from brake light switch to ECU)
   3 x wires of approx 12 inchs (relay to fuse box , from relay to body of car -tive, relay to wire of brake light switch)

3. Ratchet set (i think thats the name aka GOTHI set)
4. Screw driver sets
5. Blade etc
6. N the most important PATIENCE N A COOL HEAD ! as it will take some time . So if u had a kick off with your wife best pend it till the storm is settled!!
