thanks for liking it. the error was due to the fact that 1. car instrument cluster was in diagnostics mode. moreover the airbag was removed could be that!

zunny bhai diagnostics mode is made to detect errors and i have a ivtec prosmatic that shows the same error and its seatelt chime isnt working..culd u pls guide me as to wht culd be wrong?..im quite worried

here you go bro.Error -1. mst probably your seat belt connector under the seat is disconnected. F-Can includes SRS n seat belt is part of the Supplementary Restraint System or SRS.

did you try it by disconnecting the battery terminals. then touch both terminals for 15 mins.this will reset ECU.

zunny bhai I got this problem inherited as I bought the car used...and no modifications as to wht I can see..i disconnected the negative terminal for 15-20 mins this "I think" reset the ecu coz the clock on the cd player was reset too..ive never heard of connecting the two terminals together...but il try...I read somewhere that maybe one of the ground wires missing on the car might cause this problem and im suspicious that the car might have been hit on the driver side..

take it to a deakership and get a complete check up done.as its a nin oriel variant so the airbag replacement isnt in question

Multimedia Connections DONE in two cars, plus I managed to connect the additional two buttons. One for Mute and One for Folder Change

Now working on to find some way to get it cruised without replacement of Instrument cluster/ tachometer.
Let's see what's the outcome.

bro i have pics of the circuit board of both the Cruise control and non cruise control clusters which i had dismantled. theres alot of ICs and resistors etc which need to be added. also you will need to reprogramme the cluster by copying software of the Cruise con cluster
