Electric cars also exist., very much available and used across developed countries., use google and you can have complete history of electric vehicles. i.e worked upon since past 55 years
in respect of country Pakistan., 1ts thing 1st we need to rewrite our education system before doing anything else.
over this very international forum you can see people writing in roman and feeling educated. ignoring basic rules and regulations is considered previlige. Social fabric is shredded, pleasure in others' misery is considered funny, throwing insults & abuse is fun while throwing weight due to blood line or political connections is macho.
The root cause is lack of education. paying high fees hiring top tutors is not about education, it is about show off.
We are living in a hybrid social / educational / governance system which have multiple layers as per class differentiation.

R&D is nowhere to be seen.
People considered engineers from local schools are gross cheats., in outside world they are not considered for entry level interns, some institutions are trying doing reverse engineering, trying duplicating technology from 25 year old scrap .. at the huge expense of tax payers money.
Our local power generation system is 55 years old. can not handle the demand of domestic how can they support industry.
85% of local engineering goods require 100% of imported raw material .. which again has several layers of taxes before it reaches the manufacturer.

idea is not bad, it may become reality sometime by 2100 for a product to be 100% Made in Pakistan by 100% raw material sourced from Pakistan
