how are you going to collect road tax from electric cars? - bill everyone regardless if they own a car or not?

Do you mean the tax that is on fuel? In our country that tax is already very low. There can be multiple ways to collect tax, We can install a Sim in car and it will communicate its Total KM Driven in example 2020 and we can forward it to government to tax as per that data.

Until i arrived at my University in Islamabad and i saw how much practical knowledge do people have. You would be shocked if i tell you the company i am working for ,fresh graduates are delivering a project for Germany to build 100% Autonomous Cars (Like Tesla). We sometimes take things easy but the amount of talent we have you will be shocked if you meet them.

Didnt we already make a superb Pakistani car? Everyone keeps forgetting "Agha Waqar Water Car" that car was even endorsed by Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan the father of Pakistani A Bomb, and various other noted scientific minds.

Yes we have to reduce the no. of individual road users by providing them with public transport. It can also reduce our country oil imports.

And Rickshaws and bikes should be banned immediately due to safety because if a vehicle hits rickshaw or bike then impact is directly transferred to the passengers sitting in it. Passenger's bodies become crumple zones of these.

Yet no one asks government to resolve these issues but people will happily abuse the government on rising fuel and sugar prices.

Karachi had a circular railway system, when it was in commission entire train loads from Malir, Liaqatabad and Nazimabad would use it to get to city station where they went to work (its business hub)

when it was in service the pictures and short films of the roadways were very pretty - very little cars etc.

As you said that people want airbags .Well i recently saw a rolled over Toyota Corolla 2015-16 model being repaired at shop. Its roof was cut including pillars and new roof was installed (from a stolen car perhaps because it was dentless) with gas welding. There was also front structure damage. Now people (who are bashing about air bags) tell me how it's going to save life of occupants incase of accident ?

Now even if you will explain them about structure integrity and parts support you would be termed as being on payroll of Pakistani Automobile sector.
