Dynamat Extreme Mega Bulk Pack

Hey everyone,

So the plan is to import this mega bulk pack of dynamat extreme because I want to soundproof my car completely. This includes

1. Door (both inside and outside)
2. Floor
3. Trunk
4. Maybe the bonnet to reduce engine noise
5. This is the iffy jiffy part of doing the roof.

The problem is I want to do all of it myself and friends so I'm a bit hesistant about pulling the roof off.

So coming to the questions now.

1. What is the price of a Mega Bulk pack of Dynamat extreme in Pakistan. Considering that its around 20kg for the pack its gonna cost some shipping as well if its outside Khi.

2. How difficult is the installation itself since it will be the first time for me.

3. Im pretty sure I wont end up using all of it in any case. Would anyone else be interested in getting a sheet a or two ?

4. Its always better to import in bulk so is there anyone else who would like to buy in a bigger quantity maybe another bulk pack or two ..

One extreme pack which is 72sq f With 9 sheets Is Not Even Enough For One Car ...
4 Doors & Only Trunk Will Take 6 Sheets ... Lower end & Side Walls Of Trunk Will Take 3 Sheets .. Means 9 sheets Finshed ..

I ll Import One More Extreme Pack To Make It Complete For Floor And Roof etc

Hey man.. I am trying to work the cost out at this point in time. The shipping is a killer for a 20kg package.. Also looking at the slightly smaller size of 18 x 32 I mean if I could import 2 of those instead of one of this but then again the weight kind of remains the same.

How much is it here for any idea ??

Im not sure right now about multiple packs but yes a large order would def cut down shipping I mean 3 or 4 packs ..

Can someone tell me the price in Pakistan ? I mean an approximate ?

Also just a general question.. what would be better ? A 48 x 24 size or the 32 x 18 size ?

Well 0% was Wasted ... As I used To Correct Fittings Of Size ... no Touch Ups Os Small Piece etc ..
JZ Helped Me In Cleaning The Area Of Ride & Rest All Cutting & Fitting I Did Myself .. not That Hard ..
Just Had Many Many Cuts on hands Ehehehe
As The Inner Side Of Doors Is Very Hard To Make Clean & Proper Installation.

Yes I have Plan To Buy One More May Be It Will Cost 48k - 50k including Shipping or May Be Even lesser ..

Last Time I Got 5 packs .. 1 For me and rest For Local Friends .. so Got Good Rate Even Also Used A Little Reference .

Well Import Duties R Reasonable (Depends On Commercial & Non Commercial Items)
If It's Shiped Through Sea Shipping Which Take Bit 20 Days +
But Reach To ur Door Step At The End

I hv a very Good Link in PAK as well as in other countries for import export ..
Its not a big thing to say any1 can do that and doing moslty ...

I understood what you were saying initially and well when one buys 5 packs then things get cheaper. Dubai to Khi is simple enough and if its one or two packs then it shouldnt be a problem in customs either.

guys i used aeroflex insulation in my car !! and i got similar results as Dynamite !! its cheeper !! and has variuable thickness !! very easy instrall !! i used it for my trunk and it works perfect !!its addisive !! sticks after pealing the wrap!!

Sounds good. Can you share the cost for the trunk ? We can compare that to the kit for the truck by Dynamat or by per sheet basis.

well there are different sizes (thickness) and one sheet is 12sq(4X3) !!
