totally wrong information regarding being underpowered at highway

This gen wasnt underpowered at all even 1.3 had good pickup and 1.6 was a beast

This could simply be the sound of the engine starter (self) get it serviced. It should go away.

these 2010 gli do start giving starter noise after a while.....similar to when u start the car, the car starts but the key is still on start position kind of sound.....my father 2010 Gli bought brand new 77000 driven started giving sound around 60000 kms....just serviced the starter for 1700...car starts without any noise

Which car is better mechanically, given that they are in the same condition?
1.6 Altis 2012 or 1.8 Altis 2010.
Both with manual gear and sunroof.
Of course 1.6 is far more expensive 1.8 but please give me a mechanical answer.

The later the better. 1.6 has a 6 speed manual transmission better fuel efficient.

I have kept both even though 1.8 looks tempting on paper but 1.6 6 speed puts smile on your face when you push it as well as return a good average if you drive gently because of 6th gear. I will prefer 1.6 6 speed because of 2 reasons gearbox being 6 speed and ZRFE engine which is good as compared to ZZFE.

But 1.6 2012 is far, far expensive at a forbidding price than 1.8 2010.
