this is not a debate and i never took it as a debate, after your constant requests i did put up a review as promised, and i thought it was my responsibility to communicate the correct info, which is why i have been clarifying the ambiguities.

about the converting part, i think you need to research it further, i am available if you have any queries. all cars convert on either of the two conditions as i mentioned. you can even adjust the convert rpm so that it converts when it reaches the specific rpm(i had my vitz convert rpm readjusted to 1000rpm instead of 1800rpm), i guess your cars have it set too low, which is why it converts earlier.

and im not quite sure how the fuel average will increase as it is driven further. please shed some light. According to what my brain says a new car is the most efficient, its efficiency decreases due to wear n tear as it is driven further on.

If we look at it in terms of physics. the engine is new (im talking about the rings and pistons) so they heat up more and needs some good meters on the odo before they get adjusted and make their place. the effeciency on both fuels will increase with the passage of time. as the engine covers more miles. u might have heard about the "running" concept of engine. that for the first thou km you should drive within a certain speed limit. thats why because you are providing the engine (rings + pistons) to make a room for themselves and get used to.
so this is the whole theory which goes with the increase in economy once the rings and pistons make their place.... hope u get what im trying to say.. cheers

im a physics student myself, and its a little hard for me to understand, can you elaborate further, you have only mentioned that they heat up more when its new, HOW? they heat up every time the engine is running and expand when heated, and contract when cooled, which is why it is said to let the car warm up on a cold day to maximise performance.

And i am still convinced that a new car is the most efficient, and its efficiency decreases because to wear n tear inside the cylinders due to friction between the rings and cylinder walls, as the mileage increases, this creates a gap between the ring and cylinder walls which leaks the explosive pressure after the fuel explodes, thereby reducing efficiency. This is why older cars need an engine rebuild.

Since all engines now have ground bores with precision machinery, cylinders and piston rings setting in is not as important as it was a few decades ago. And yes most people still have the 70's mentality.

uptill now, the usual seat covers+mats+top cover, OEM wood paneling, & Auto-retractable side mirrors.

I was really on about the wooden multimedia steering wheel, and T.A.K said it could be hooked up to the original audio unit, went to get it done but they found out mine too couldn't be done. So that is out of the list for now.

I had to get the door handles painted, but will be leaving soon so that might be delayed aswell.

I have a few things in mind, hopefully will be getting a them from K.L when i return next summer.

About the door handles, Earilier i thot the chrome looks cheap, But since some days ive been seeing some high end cars with chrome door handels, So i went asking today he said local for Rs.300 and chinese for Rs.700, Since mines silver, mayb they wont look too bad. Even if they do, Rs.300 is worth risking, What say?

So im thinking to get plain silver chormes, (without thoose cheap lights etc)

But that im thinking il do when i get the alloys installed.

I would suggest you to stick with stock black door handles and get Altis alloys with 205 tires.Your car with look d@mn HAWT!

Im not planning on getting the alloys. about the chrome door handles, i have looked into it, Firstly you will not find ""chrome handles"" they will just be cheap plastic handles made to look like chrome, but the ""chrome"" will wear off to reveal a faded greenish white plastic. The handles are just stuck on the original handles and they usually fall off within a year. Im not for the chrome handles unless you can replace the complete handles from the inside and install proper chrome ones.
