ECU for 5afe(repair) and pinout/sensor connection

Guide me step by step to make it easier for me

you know what 4AFE cam sensor looks like? Its the single pole sensor in the distributor, called G- in Toyota nomenclature. Do you have 12V power at injectors? how about if you connect an LED to the negative pole of the injector wiring? does it flash?

are you getting the check engine warning lamp when you switch on the key?

Sir i just have checked the current in injectors it has 11.5v each but there is no spark in spark plugs what should i do for this @Hassan1991 @Vaqas1 @brownrose78 @capsat

connect the check light, if the ecu is not switching on the check light when the key is cycled to ON, this means the ECU is off.

This is why I asked if you have 5V at the TPS and MAP sensor reference circuits, if you dont then it means the ECU is offline.

Its not as direct easy as you think, for spark not there, you first need to make sure the ecu is functional, its receiving crank sensor signal to time and sequence the ignitor to trigger the ignition coil to make a spark.

And without a check light, you wont be able to see if the ecu has any errors or not.

Get the basics right first.

Use a 3w bulb, connect one leg of it to positive like the ecu positive power, and the ground leg to the W pin of the ecu.

There are 5v in TPS and MAP sensor as well. There is no spark in the spark plugs with this 5afe ecu

Check the appropriate schematic and perform a standard voltage drop test to ensure that all power and ground circuits to the module are intact.

Tukka Hit & try is not going to work, totally waste of time.

Yes, ECU is switched on.

you will now need to check at ignition coil if its being switched off and on when cranking, if it is then your coil is dead, if its not, you have a problem like broken crank sensor wiring or bad crank sensor in the distributor.

read this for more understanding if this is the same ECU which had a blown up zener diode i'd recommend download schematic and trace the fault

4afe's came with external crank sensor while 5afe doesn't. As your engine was running on 4afe ecu means problem can be relate to wiring.
Have you check the injector pulse?

4AFE all came with crank sensor in distributor and a cam sensor in it too. The 5AFE engine came with either just a crank sensor or both and had different trigger poles too.

mismatching anything will cause a no start.

Means his engine probably running a 4afe distributor.

@Xulfiqar @capsat yesterday i did some inspection on wiring i opened the wiring and also checked the circuit of both ECUs i got some pins with different codes like IGT ISC and E20 on circuit so i matched the wires with 5afe ECU now the engine cranked but with better result like engine starts but for very lil time engine start hoty e bend ho jata ha . I think there is issue of wiring

Sir something is being mismatched for now i think m missing something here most of the wires are not connected with only a few important wires are connected i need to connect all the wires with pin outs but my first priority is to start the engine with 5afe ecu. After that i will connect the remaining wires which are of many other sensors.
