connect the check light, if the ecu is not switching on the check light when the key is cycled to ON, this means the ECU is off.
This is why I asked if you have 5V at the TPS and MAP sensor reference circuits, if you dont then it means the ECU is offline.
Its not as direct easy as you think, for spark not there, you first need to make sure the ecu is functional, its receiving crank sensor signal to time and sequence the ignitor to trigger the ignition coil to make a spark.
And without a check light, you wont be able to see if the ecu has any errors or not.
Get the basics right first.
