1. Free availability of Clean drinking water across Pakistan
2. Free basic Health care across Pakistan
3. Free basic Education for every child under age of 7
4. Controlled Electronic Media
5. Censored Internet access
6. Ban over political & religious gatherings on public roads
7. Controlled Usage of Natural Gas

Thanks for your rejoinder. You have correctly highlighted all the burning issues. However, we cant get all these things in one go. First thing first as per our priorities.

Since our Balance of Payment is highly unfavorable and Exports are going down. To save this disbalance, we need to save Foreign Exchange. Petrol, Diesel and Gas imports eats majority part of our Foreign Exchange. Pakistan is at the edge of a Defaulting Nation. So our first priority is to Save Pakistan from being a Default Nation.

To cut fuel import bill, it is imperative we should switch over to Electric Cars which is a future sooner rather than later.

It is hoped that you will agree to my proposal as it is problem of all Pakistanis to grow and prosper if our economy is healty.

Govt is criminal, because as nation we have choosen criminals to rule us, reason being we ourselves spare no chance to act THUG, at every level

look around and check the oil prices over international scenario.
globally subsidy is allowed over the items of alternate-energy producing - Solar panels & windmills are subject to approx 38% taxes.

Pakistan Govt as in CAPITAL Ministries & affiliated departments Non-revenue generating offices expenditure is 2.75 times the National Education development fund.

A criminal is getting security protocol at cost of tax payer.
A criminal is getting treatment abroad at cost of tax payer.

I do not agree with electric cars, its non-sense till Pakistan itself come out of energy crisis, & kick start the industries one more time

in my opinion Govt shall Import Buses duty & tax free, outsource the same on MOP [ maintain operate & pay to Govt ] to Transporters. BAN on CAR IMPORTS. double the taxation over purchase of local cars without adding any taxes over manufacturer.

revive the railways for mass intercity transportation.

with hundreds of buses on road on public routes less people will travel to & from work in cars. less cars
less bikes will reduce smog & noise pollution will drop considerably. Mental Stress will reduce people will be more productive less addictive

I 100% agree with you. However, I stand on my point as instead of importing Petrol Cars, Government should import Electric Cars with a long terms vision to save Fuel Import costs.

Mostly people are not educated and it seems that they will continue voting corrupt and foolish leaders. Educated people have to feel the results as we are facing it now.

Government is not importing a single vehicle.

car manufacturers are importing CKD kits under assembly licenses after payment of duty & taxes as per regulation.

All other vehicles landing in Pakistan are under FAKE criminal process - Personal Baggage & GIFT Scheme approved only for people living abroad for over 24 months having a local driving license and proof of income & its legal transfer to Pakistan

FAKE & Criminal because 90% of cars are GIFTED by a labor earning US$ 5000/-- per year living in shared porta cabin at labor camp in GCC region. His passport is used for a fee of Rs. 10,000 rest is all money laundering. A US$ 35000 Land Cruiser or a Bentley all are landing under fake documentation with the connivence of people at sitting at customs house.

NOW about electric cars

visit any 3S automobile workshop in 100 km radius.

Ask if they have any OEM trained ENGINEER / FOREMAN working for them. What is frequency of refresher courses and implementation of service bulletins. Also check if they have any customer database for service updates, recall and maintenance history.

This is about liquid & gas fuel cars. Imagine electric car import their workshops for maintenance etc.

Do you know it is illegal to work on a Hybrid Car at a conventional workshop floor. across Europe US & Asia Pacific region.

Hybrid / Electric car service bay has to be insulated with CHEMLOK 252X adhesive. 2 people are required in that bay One to watch other to work upon vehicle wearing insulated overall and boots.

Go around any workshop and see how people work on JDM Hybrid cars.

The MAJOR HORRIFYING issue is not about petrol diesel methane hybrid or electric vehicles.

70% of population does not have access to clean drinking water.

Education as in Taleem O Tarbeyat is the Core Problem.

A degree from high fee paid school does not qualify a person as Educated.

Social problems aside as this forum is not to discuss such issues, Electric Cars are gully guaranteed for two years for any manufacturing defect. 3S workshops are crying on the Import of Electric Cars as there is No Engine, No Engine Oil, etc. In other words Zero Maintenance.

Frankly speaking they discourage import of Electric Cars.

I have said import by Government, you have explained in details as how Customs]Government] manipulate importing Reconditioned Cars into this country.

Yes one of the major cause - that is save import of Fuel from abroad.

If you have access to statistics on the FUEL IMPORT digits am sure you can very intelligently figure out that the Major Chunk of FE ( as in 67% ) is consumed on IMPORT OF FURNACE OIL to run power generation plants.

I always want to set a portable generator for charging the car.
The car will charge very efficiently in charge mode or preferably in ECO
and in the process lose none of the range that was charged at home. The
amount of gasoline used is minicule. Much more efficient than a
auxially generator.

In fact, i saw some trailer generator online and I think that is really awesome...
