a Nissan LEAF is parked dead since October 2017 at a workshop in johar town. only drive side door is locked unlocked through key only, button start (activation) only display is in French ( translated ) as Slow Recharge required in Jan 2018 that display also vanished ! no wonder this is the same vehicle as advertised & sold over PW

To my knowledge TESLA keep track of their vehicle through cloud, and in absence of cloud access the vehicle is considered Tampered and not supported by the manufacturer.

I can tell you first hand how Tesla manage their vehicles - if a vehicle is written off, forget updates, they wont even sell you spare parts for it - and every little part on a Tesla needs to be written to the VIN. (thats why a fender bender smashed Tesla ends up as totalled)
