Engine oil for 2005 carby cultus with new swapped G10A

I just got my carby cultus engine swapped with japanese used G10A and i was just curious which engine oil shall i use? as recommended by mechanic i am using Zic X5 20w50 and have been changing it after 3K kilometers so my question is shall i use any other grade oil like 10w40? or keep using 20w50? and shall i change it after 3K or 5K ?

I also have swapped my car engine with Japanese g10a and using zic x7000 and its performing excellent.

go for 10w-40 fully synthetic. or 5w-50 fully synthetic.

ahan and after what time you are changing it? i feel 20w50 is too much heavy as the engine feels heavy.

Thanks for suggestion guys i can see three options please suggest which one to use
ZIC X7 10W-40 (A)
ZIC X7000 10W-40/CI-4 (5000)
ZIC X7000 15W-40/CI-4 (5000 POWER)

And after how many kilometers shall i change the oil.

g10A requires a thin oil, use 10w30 caltex. it will give best fuel economy and performance. If engine is very good, you can use any 5w30 too, shell is nice

how about zic? i am actually using it for two other cars that we have and i am much satisfied caltex is having issues with it's duplicate/fake oil been through this a couple of times.

Dude zic x7000 is diesel engine oil, and you should not use it, and 20w-50 is thick and non synthetic simple mineral oil, mean its lowest quality oil u r using there is nothing wrong in that, but u can use some better quality synthetic oil for more protection and longer life of your engine, and you can also increase the oil change intervals

These are the ones for petrol
ZIC X7 FE 5W-20 (A+)
ZIC X7 10W-40 (A)
ZIC X7 FE 0W-30 (OW – Hybrid)

I change at 5k kms..
Just order this oil online and it will be delivered with 2 days and change after 5k....
20w50 is too heavy for this car...

I have another Query gear oil is leaking and the mechanic is saying to get it replaced it will cost me around 6-8k as there are a couple of issues.
1. first gear is hard and have to tilt a bit from it's original position to get it engaged. Gear wala kharadiya is going to charge around 4k if he needs to change the karra and any garari in there
2. The axle sides which fix into the gears are having play ( he stated that also causes wobbling after the speed of 80 lmph) that will cost 2k to fix it
3. All seals need to be changed. and the total labor will be around 2k.

Bhai if gear are hard then you can use zic oil i can refer it mighy reduce that hardness but as you are facing other problems too so go for kabuli gear box but find one in neat and clean condition look for signs of leakage from shifter side boot to check shifter seal as it requires whole gearbox to tear apart...
I have recently changed my gear to kabuli one only problem was gonj from 20kmph to 90kmph otherwise it was working fine....
I bought the gear for 6.5k after nego got it replaced from the same kabariya for 1k labour and bought sgo gear oil which comes company fitted 3litr @1200rs but you may go for zic as it is better in smooth shifting... Alhamdulilah its working excellent.
But be extra vigilant while buying otherwise it will become a new headache....
And from my past experience i would suggest you to never go for repairing gear... These ustads can not repair them properly nor they have the genuine parts... Even after repair if it works then it will not be as long lasting as a kabuli gear....

Only first gear is hard and not hard it just some times doesn't gets engaged on the right place i have to tilt it a bit.
I have checked it thoroughly gear oil is leaking from shifter and its currently dripping and the boot is wet also the oil is leaking from the axle that goes into the gear also there is a play in the axles (car is currently wobbling at speed more than 80 so the mechanic says this also needs to be fixed)
How about if i just go for the new seals and the axle repairing?

Get axle kits new from shop dont go for kabuli axle...
Bhai if there is mechanical problem in gear then do not waste your money change gear but if there is no mechanical problem then just change seals and pour zic gear oil... But as you said earlier you have mechanical problems with then its waste of time and money especially kharadia and mechanic will charge atleast 3k for all seals.
Go for new axle kit they last for 2-2.5 years.
You can get good gear for within 7k with your own gear...
Also check for leakage from speedometer cable its leakage falls on shifter seal as in my case

what would be the price for axle kits? any idea
Also what would be a mechanical issue? i am only having issues with first gear only other gears are just working fine.

You said that kara and garare needs to be changed... I dont know current condition of your gear....
Change gear oil you maybe lucky and problem might be solved without repairing/replacing...
Inner kits makes noise while turning and they are about 2800rs for a set and 2500rs for outer chinese set... And chinese will work fine for 2 or more years.

the mechanic said that there could be a issue with that kara or garare he just gave me a ball park figure usually how they deal with it that khulayga to pta lagayga,
i am just telling you the current situation to get a better idea what can we avoid doing as they want you to spend the most that can be spent and seriously i have already spent 70K on engine, suspension, steering assembly etc etc.

How much is the leakage?
Yes mechanics are looteray.... You need to use your own brain in these situations.
