Believe me you have to do more than That list to have a trouble free swap .
List will almost be the same for 1GR but if you lucky you won't have to change the rear seal on that as we never have any issue with that rear seal yet .
Also timing chain will make your life a bit easy .
And having a 1GR you have better car so called market value wise .
If I have the subject Prado
My choices will be
1- 1KD-FTV ( overhaul )
2- 1KZ TE
4- 1 GR
All obove are almost bolt on except 2TR .
Staying 4 cylinder will ease few things .
Any how you will learn when you or your friend start the work .
And never ever opt the same guy to fit the engine from whom you buying as he will not tell you of any missing steps or faulty things .
Do lot forget to have diagnosis socket when our ustaad electricians are working .
And look for all codes at the end of swap .
