Hmmm... Its good to know, as you were telling, they might have got a very good deal from mushtaq :). On our meet at tikka shop, I was inspecting that how much difference is there to put N16 automatic lever to be perfect fit in B13.... did not come to any conclusion as did not have any B13, but I think its a bit bigger and width and smaller in length the N16 (yours) one....

Why dont youavisit and have a look yourself. I am sure your current and next set of questions are not answerable by normal human beings Only A gearhed (ETC with lots of solenoids and seperate ECU with loads of wires version) like you can understand and respond to such things

Performing good on petrol, running quite smooth with very good pick. Visited electrician to fix fuel guage, opened the meters as well as fuel tank, still no results.

I have decided to change the instrument cluster altogether. There's no RPM meter currently, which is too annoying for me.

Thinking to put a digital one (I saw a thread where one was for sale, which you didn't buy :P, don't know whether its still with that guy or not).

As I've scheduled a visit tomorrow, so will ask those questions there. Plus, will visit Chah-e-Sultan to find a good meter with RPM. This time, I'm surely gonna fit it myself

I guess, I'll also need to purchase some cable for RPM to work?

Does the "cable" that drives the gear lever of automatic CVT transmission of QG18DE fitted in N16 will fit if the engine is swapped in B13? or there is any difference in the lengths of B13 and N16 from actual gear to lever ? I hope you understand my question at first place!

Summary of today's visit in 1 word: Khawari

1. Power steering issue resolved by changing pipe and properly fixing the small power tank (Don't know the proper word for that)

2. Clutch: Got softer a bit itself, they have asked to visit again in 3-4 days for detailed diagnosis.

3. AC compressor was jammed, so they gave a new Kabli one. Haven't checked it for leakages. Estimated cost of AC installation excluding wiring is 5-5.5K

4. Pipes from fuel tank leaked all of a sudden, and all petrol in the tank lost
5. CNG installed back, cost of installation: 2K

Driving in Pindi is hell troublesome experience. Journey from Saddar to Chah-e-Sultan took hours due to so much traffic.

Set of two rear lights available for 3K. Meter with RPM will cost 2.5K after adjusting the old one.

Car was like a dying donkey on CNG, so went to my mechanic in Khanna pul, who told that CNG has been installed, but no settings made. So visit tomorrow to do the settings/tuning.

I guess 2-3 more visits required to sort out all issues.

During the QG18 swap in my B13, the longest time taken was for the hydraulic clutch installation and the pedal placement.... which was three full days :-). As per the acclaimed "nissan specialist" mechanic of pindi saddar i.e. dara ustad, who doesn't do even half the required stuff in a swap, he had attempted this many a times and concluded that this just cannot be done. Yousaf actually also gave up after which a motivational speech was required to get him going, the result turned out to be pretty good and I have't faced any issues with the clutch in more then two years of service alhumdulillah

The wiring for the current swap actually is so clean that I was feeling jealous :p, even the mounts for the wiring are there and all the rubber caps, relays etc everything is there and in perfect order. The guy is really lucky

cannot confirm because I have not seen it first hand, but its Nissan and every Nissan is modular - hence parts maybe interchangeable. if not then just get the cable custom done, its pretty cheap.

Count me in as well.. when i was working on my uncle's 202 (complete wiring diagnosis, there were multiple problems - had to take off almost everything inside) my mom complained that i was blabbering some "coded" things in sleep, same thing happened when I worked on a w140 and when i was getting prepared for a 1uz-fe wiring job
