EPS in cultus

Guys recently i have installed Japanese EPS in my 2013 cultus. . the mechanic configured all the fittings and connections and installed the EPS keeping everything original.... its like company fitted EPS . .

steering is working perfectly fine even connected with speed and get harder when speed increases.. .

now the only issue i am facing is that steering is not completely returning back to original position on turns and you manually have to return it back to ZERO position. . . the mechanic said it will get better after use but is there anything i can do to make it better. . like greasing, alignment etc. . .

did not he changed steering column ? because as far as i knew it has to be changed or altered because you have you fit motor and attach it to column. atleast i was told and did same with my cultus.

Why EPs in a car like cultus anyway?

Try zero calibration it might help

yes it was altered & that is how all original fittings installed. are you having normal steering return like on turnings is it coming back normal to its zero position.

Yes you can process is same as cultus but willing to remove safety feature from steering column that is there to safe you from breaking your rib in case of front hit?

I got it installed couple of month ago in my cultus efi, mine is working perfectly right from day 1, no issues at all. It returns to zero(normal straight position).

If you are facing this problem then there must be some issue that you need to sort out with your mechanic

how much does the whole package costed you - - and did you mechanic all cultus things with the pump like indicator assembly, steering wheels etc.

Brother my mechanic sourced the steering column of japanese alto for 7 - 8k and charged my 3k for fitting, total cost i paid him was 11k. each and every thing included.

Btw is the issue of returning back to original position resolved. If so what was the problem?

Do you guys recommend buying cultus having EPS installed? One of my good friend says that since it is not company fitted so power steering creates issue at some point in time if not today. He is not recommending to buy a cultus having power steering. What are your views?

I installed EPS in my cultus from a Japanese Alto in 2015 and i kept the car till march 2018 and i faced no issue at all It would start getting hard as speed increased and would be soft at low speeds.

So i would recommend installing the EPS in EFI cultus.

bhai simply go to pindi old junkyard whatever it is called, there ask for alto japani eps, once you find a seller negotiate a deal with fitting and some days of replacement warranty. A year ago i bought one for a friend from multan for 6500 while they asked 8000 for fitting but the car was in other city so i just got the eps.
