Dear Devil.

I have no issue with faw n even not trying to do any propaganda against it but if i am trying to compare my corolla with Mercs and BMW then it is not justifiable same the case with faw if some one trying to compare it with camry or vitz then there is no justification to prove him right.

Faw is a good ecnomical car with in its budget range but it should remains a faw dont try to make it a CAMRY or ACCORD like china Iphone is remain a china iphone no one make it IOS with some google facts and relative theories

Now, as for the engine pictures you posted, just invert them, intake to the back and exhaust to the front, and you will see that it resembles the CA4GA1 engine that comes with FAW V2.

I feel there is nothing wrong in comparing FAW cars with Toyota cars, as both come with the same underlying technology, and specially when one is based on the platform of another.

O Bhai jee ... bus just let it go, no need to block anybody. I think we should encourage them both to discuss more but in a positive manner. Healthy conversation gives alot of info to a person like me

The conversation is very unhealthy actually especially for someone who wants to learn something new because my dear brother as you see the accused poster(s) don't even know what they are talking about they are clearly talking through their hats! , They say that comparing faw to Toyota platz and vitz is unfair and like comparing a fake product to a real product. But my brother the truth is that the faw V2 infact does use the 2nz Fe and it is infact more closely related to the vitz than we think. The chasis and basically the whole under pinnings of this car are based on (actually mostly ditto copy of) the gen 2 vitz. Therefore the discussion is open to compare it even with the corolla xli and gli as (only in Pakistan) they use the engine from that very same 2 gen vitz!(for now).

No it’s not heading towards comparing Sedan Vs Hatchback. It is only to inform that Hatchbacks and Sedans do share the same engines, Just like Toyota Vitz 1.3 and Corolla 1.3 and Vios 1.3... Just like SUVs and Pickup Trucks sometimes share the same engine

I have heard that FAW going to increase prices of V2 in January 2018, not confirm news.

highly unlikely. the car is just starting to get recognized in the market, it would be a bad move if they increased the price. plus local production was supposed to cut down price, not to increase it.

Price will be increased due to Rupee depreciation... not only FAW but all companies will be increasing the price pretty shortly
