Salaam bhai good to see someone in karachi too with such obvious knowledge:D so far the brothers in the rest of Pakistan have been very kind, gracious and helpful.........
its like we are singing from the same book......I had somewhat similar views on active and passive....i want to first enjoy the passives and once I master the 99 then go for active........as even with this setup I experiment so much from the head unit and finally got a sound i like I know once I go active it will be experimentation foreva untill the sound is right.....should be fun but am busy at the moment.....
now as for the installers if i told you a story of one guy at one of the most reputed places in karachi messing up something as simple as phasing and wiring the speakers your comment on not being able to install the active properly makes sense - Crystal in fact.
And this was from their best installer (the shop I have been buying from for like 15 years).....i mean the guy is great at his job he does the most high end cars you can imagine some german as well but its like if they are in the mood ...
The vibrations off and on get a bit tiresome.....When I do test the morels I guess i will have to deaden the doors again and mount the foam behind the drivers as you have suggested.......The thing is I have something called aURIX installed will see if they have dynamat and will go for that...........i dunno if aurix is doing the job......
One thing I do not understand in your post is run the morels with 200rms from either side? I was thinking of running them with my PDX F6 600rms and the rears with the same amplifier....Are you saying forget the rears and give all the juice to the morels?
