im gona test the BATT and +B connections with ign off to see if the idiot wired it up directly without relay...i think he did so! grrrrrrr

Also, the E21 - sensor earth, is that a separate sensor or can i just ground this wire with the vehicle body? any pros/cons of not connecting it?

B.t.w E01 and E02 Are for ground sensors mostly....!! And Yea it Goes To Ground Like Other Ground..But some Solid Ground Like Engine Block....!! Not Somewhere inside car

I am not getting anytime to test anything :s.

BTW idling issue is with CNG kit. yesterday i did manage to bring RPM back to 800 on CNG. Today before i got the cng tank full the rpm was at 800 stable than i guess as the cold gas came to kit the rpm dropped again.

BTW my cng kit is not connected to hot water pipes so i guess its cold thats why its giving problems.

the E21 goes to the TPS, MAP and other pieces then ground out at the eyelet near the manifold

the ac connector has 3 wires - one is compressor clutch, two are rpm sensor - and yes your 2E also has an A/C amplifier - to connect the rpm sensor you need to trace back the wires through the engine wiring loom going to the A/C amplifier and then find the output compressor rpm wire from the a/c amplifier

i tested the BATT and +B. turns out they switch off when ignition is switched off. that means all learning the ecu has done during last run get reset right?

anyone know what they call the ELS sensor thingy in local language? And where to buy it from?

the ELS is not a sensor - its a sense pin, you simply connect it to a wire i.e. mentioned.

And yes if batt and B+ go dead on key off - you have lost all memory - BATT should be live all the time - whether engine on or off

I tested my wiring. When I turn switch to ign i can hear the relay outside working so i guess that means relay is connected. I tried removing all fuses from the fusebox but car still started So no fuses on ECU.

BTW Idling issue is resolved Did some CNG setting and some high REV running lol and now rpm stays at 900.

i connected the SPD pin with a purple/white wire going to the speedo...that wire was getting 20-24mV whenever the car started moving. im guessing its a sort of pulse telling the ecu abt vehicle speed. i hope i hooked up right. maybe now it does employ fuel cut on deceleration since car does seem to have better engine braking...

yup that purple white wire is of Speedo pulse.....i hope there's def a pulse in it....!!
always reset ecu after every change done.......but you have +b and batt attached so your ecu reset every time you switch off and start your car

yeah that single ecu grip can also be removed rather than the cable from battery coz then it doesnt erase my time and headunit settings!

thats why we have an EFI memory fuse in every car - remove it and you killed the power to the ECU - in a more convenient location like an easy to access fuse box
