Nazar lag gaye bhaiyo, Stupid water pump got leaked today causing the car to over heat on highway. I was at 100 when i saw my Temp guage jumped and come back to normal so i stopped the car opened the hood and everything seem normal so i started driving again.
This time the on last trafic signal to my home the auto fan kicked in and i was thinking if they worked normally like turn off on time everything is normal but no they kept working and never turn off than i saw my heat guage started to jump again to high as it touched alost red zone and trafic signal turned red i turned off the engine and turn the key to ign and fan started working. around 4 mins later the signal turned green i went on to cross it as again temp guage touched red zone as i crosed signal i turned off engine again which was giving normal sound and all no issues in running.
opened the radiator cap a lil to let the steam or pressure out and a lot of steam started comin out. filled the radiator with water came home and checked its the water pump that is leaking. Now i am worried if i over heated the engine which i feel i did but not badly over heated. My mechanic suggesting if engine tried to turn off bcoz of heat you must change engine oil as well. so kindly suggest and also let me know if i should change two days old?
Oil looks normal no burning or any water in it.
this happend right after i added coolant i guess already weak water pump didnt like the cleanig of coolant
