Here is the shopping I did today. I have seen GMB Pumps in past and mostly installed them but this time vendor gave me Paraut saying its a good OEM quality one.

Hmm come on guys give some comments I am sure atleast one of you must be learning some thing from this useless thread of mine

So today i got the timing belt replaced though the one installed looked in fine condition. Along with that also changed the water pump and timing bearig.

Above all for the first time i removed the tappet cover of this engine and i was like :o its in such a neat condition MashaAllah :) See the pics for more details also see the old water body leaked from the weep hole.

Ahsan hows your engine idle prob?

One thing i still dont understand is when i bought the engine and when i use to start it in morning RPM use to stay at 1400 than slowly come down to 800 whn engine was warm. That habbit is long gone now and it starts at like 900 and than comes down to 800 in this engine the ECU raises the rpm when the engine is cold or do we have some kinda auto choke in the TB?

its a self learning thing - if it is not shaking at 900 rpm then dont worry. any idle up/compensation is supposed to match the base rpm

Okay. One more thing Do we need any Air blockage on this engine with CNG? hmm my mechanic blocked like 50% by putting venturi and making the venturi hole further closed now i was Against this but he insists this.

I feel engine torque is reduced a lot. not the way it was when i first started it on petrol or cng.

iv had exhaust works done again since i found out it wasnt right.
no air blockage here. the size of the venturi does that itself.

i think mine idles at 700rpm or 650rpm. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

What wasent right in Exhaust?

I need to change my fuel Pump. Now i am confused to go for new one i found new honda civic/city one is for 2200 Rs its a Thailand made and Toyota gli one is for 3500 Rs that is also made in thailand.

Used one in market is for 1200 Rs as pathan sey chuti niple wala high pressure hai new model ka hai sir :p.

Suggest me which one to get?

Okay So one of the thing left to do was to install circuit opening Relay for Fuel pump. I was jut lazy in not installling but Xulfiqar bhai kept reminding me about it so here it is

Installed it today and its working fine as soon as you turn the key you can hear relay working.

nice - now if you connected the fuel pump hot line to the FP port in the diagnosis box, you can prime the fuel pump via the port and also check pressure under the bonnet with a gauge just like the toyota manual recommends.

Hmm okay now it seems almost everything is connected electrically the way it is suppose to be now thanks to you and also Farrukh.

Only VSS is left cant locate its signal in meter i guess koi aur tarika karna pareiga.

open up the meter and see find the magnet switch screws, follow the screw to the out pin on the connector., If its missing, get a meter wala to install a VSS in it as is, its workable for sure.
