so do u admit the rebuilt was not upto the mark?
who do u blame? the parts? the mechanic?or the machinist? talking about the 2E

My Rebuild was as good as it can get The engine was running perfect but i was just not happy with that 70 HP motor thats the reason i changed to 100HP one. 2 Weeks ago i did 1200 KM trip on my 2E and my engine didnt reduce one drop of oil so it was running very good.

About ECU So There Is Difference In Both ECU's But Not so Much......!! Go with A/T Ecu and when you find M/T One Get It simply.....!!
About That issue...so i would suggest you to find an EFi Fuel Tank Of AE90 Se Limited....! That will Be good and less hassle...else what you need to do is to make a collector baffle in side fuel tank..
check my Project 86 and on Fuel Portion...You Will see how i make it and what we are talking about.....i never face any issues like that and i run 20v BT on it.....!! slopes sideways climbing roads turning...my fuel pump never surge
that's called Fuel Tank Surging What you are having and to overcome this people either use Surge Tanks but Thats Not for You.....Best way Is To Find The EFi fuel tank.....and save yourself from hassles...else get baffle built inside.....!!
i would recommend to buy a brand new fuel pump if you are having bad lucks with pump but its not always pump.....can be fuel not sucked into pump so make sure before replacing

RPM not working?? why...? didn't he wired it?? ask him to wire it simply.....!

EFI Fuel tank will be hard to find. But i can give it a try.

I am still not sure how to make this baffle works I will try to search or you can share some pic so that i can have an idea?

Well our electrition dun kno anything so as usual he had no idea why RPM isnt working i will get it checked again.

On Petrol i felt local its giving around 11 to 13 KMPL. On CNG we went for test drive and drove at around 120 to 140 at average on motorway and touched 160 still car did 100 KM In 300 RS CNG.

Thx Today I changed one day old oil and came out dirty hehe also flushed oil that also was badly rusted seems engine was laying some where for a long time.

change ur stock 2E downpipe as it is very thin around 1.5inch ! change it to 2inch not more and keep the pipe in one piece ! tell them not to make weld joints in it ! and in the downpipe one custom made dabba with 2 inch perforated pipe and enough cotton in it and one vibration filter ( which looks like beehive )
and install a branded chambered exhuast to keep the sound in silent ! i can help u in branded exhausts i know some people who have apexi,hks jasma approved , concept exhaust (having 3 inch inlet and 5 inch outlet ) and many other brands for sale if u need one i can provide ! the mileage seems good on both petrol and cng ! mine gives 9km on 1 litre and 100 km on 300 cng ! on long run it gives around 160km on full tank ! tune ur car and ull get more mileage inshallah ! and if u need any help just let me know

Don't Exceed Exhaust Pipe Diameter Above 45-48mm......and get a decent resonator and muffler for good back pressure with not so much restricted flow.....!!
About tank if you can't find so yea you can get one built

heyy congrats! i know how you feel with new power under the hood...coz i myself just got back from peshawar with a 5afe powering my 95 corolla. couldn't afford the the anything vvti and im glad i didnt go for it coz the guys were having trouble wiring even this simple beast. but as always i made em do it in the end. chotay motay problems hain but all in all its a biiggg improvement over the previous setup mashallah..

yes you can wire it like i did if you know what are you doing and how its done....!! it needs lots of efforts if you do it properly
bends in down-pipe are only way to make it work w/o so much hassles.....we don't find a good bender unfortunately but this one still works best....!!!

Azi I told the guy I bought engine from that this RPM problem he will have to get fixed so on Saturday i will go to him again for this RPM thing. If he couldent do it than i will give the guy you suggested a try

I think I will have to dig hard and get few wiring things done by my Self.

Problems I am having.

IF lights are turned on or Auto Fan kicks in the engine RPM Decreases I guess ECU is suppose to raise the RPM if i am not wrong?

2ndly On A/C RPM again needs to be raise and Pathan says some vacume thingi will be installed means they will be doing it manual way and not the way ECU does it again this i need to sort.

My Wiring was not much cut i mean all sensors were already hoked so I dont know why the above things arent working.

Yes I got it done from Pindi. Even though I was getting it cheaper in Peshawar but i was just not in mood of going to Peshawar Engine is fine though some little things need to be taken care of. Like I can feel some bearing is giving noise now either the A/C one or some thing else.

The branded exhausts you mentioned i hope they are not noisy ones ? How much do they cost ?

Ok Now Update time.

Yesterday while test Run at touching 160 (Though i was against this high speed) the power pump or some pipe sprayed pump oil all over the place i cant locate the leak so that needs to be checked. I will try and get original 1.6 GLI pipes for my car these custom made ones are just not gona work.

I still getting the small work done than i will clean the engine and take final pics for you all. BTW any tips for cleaning this engine? I mean its EFI so do i have to be careful with some thing? What I am gona do is. Let the engine cool Down. Take the battery negative off. Clean the engine and than dry the brackets and all of sensors with blower and reconect the battery after like 2 or 3 hours. also cover few electronic parts i feel might not like water :p.

Exhaust makes all kind of noises when I Push the car so i guess this exhaust just not gona work. But I am out of Cash I had around 45 figour in mind but its over 50 now :p.

im planning to initiate a swap and upgrade project on my ee80 this weekend inshallah( SER_GTR has already been very helpful in sending sum detailed replies to my inbox ) ....initially i was stuck on the idea of a 1nzfe swap but SER_GTR has talked me out of tht one, too much issues and i dont think thts a nice idea for the 1st swap prj i wud b undertaking

planning to replace the 2e with a 4afe.i live in pindi & plan to get the swap frm mithu khan's ahata (have my own mechanic to supervise & get it done though)

Have a few queries, esp for Vaqas1:

1) @vaqas1 could u give me any leads as to who has a clean 4afe lying arnd there?? or any place else in pindi, help on tht wud be appreciated!

2)who did u get the wiring done frm?

3)upgrading the brakes, all discs + abs....i believe trasnplanting the whole system frm another car wud b a better idea? any suggestions ppl? @vaqas1 & sinner , any recommended mechanic for tht

4)also need stabilizer bars at the front for my car, any1 has any idea on where i can get my hands on them
