Dear all.. I have just got hold of two repair manuals for the FJ 40 Series. One is the famous Haynes Manual and the other is Max Ellery's. Both are quite comprehensive. If any 40 series enthusiast wants a photo copy I will be glad to share.

Got recently delivery of FJ 40 from army auction. The rig has 4230cc 6 cylinder petrol engine, very good rustless body and in running condition. Rear doors and roof is available with it.
Its already on sale only serious buyers can contact on 0300-9474464

Great Thread.
Sir Ji, I have a wonderful FJ 40 in my vision.
Needs a little bit of body work.
Looks good. Un registered. model 1984.
Engine, differentials, gear box look OK. No major work required.
Asking for 250, I may be able to bring him down, but just a little bit. Say around 230 or 235.
Roughly how much do I need to spend to get it to top spec condition? With good quality tyres and airconditioning?
