Massa wasn't any slower than Hamilton but it was fact that they knew hamilton had to stop thrice due to the quicker pit stops so was not pushing his new engine too much. Congrats Massa!!!

Singapore to increase night running

Fears about a lack of running in the dark at Formula One's first night race in Singapore have been alleviated with a major timetable overhaul set to be rubber-stamped imminently.

The original timetable for the street race had the event straddled over both day and night time.

FIA looks at ECU safety car solution

A solution to the controversy about Formula One's safety car rules using the standard ECU is being looked at by the FIA, autosport.com has learned, although no change to the regulations is expected to be introduced before July.

Talks to revise the way that the pitlane is closed during safety car periods have been ongoing since the start of the season.

Hamilton hungry for 'dream' Monaco win

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton says he will do his best to score a "dream" victory at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

"This is the race to win, and one of the races I've always wanted to win," Hamilton told reporters at Monte Carlo.

"It would be a dream to win here, for me especially. So I am pushing very hard to make sure we do that this weekend."

The newest 'spying saga' may be on a smaller scale, but it nonetheless has tongues wagging in Monte Carlo.

It is reported that, so impressed is Ferrari with the superior speed of BMW Sauber's pitstops so far in 2008, that the Italian team took to secretly video-taping its German rival at recent test sessions.

BMW team boss Mario Theissen told the German newspaper Bild: "If Ferrari sees us as a benchmark, we take that as a compliment."

can anybody guess in which year we have a wet or rainy race at monaco last time. Because as far as my memory serves it was in 1997 when the race was stopped after 62 laps and MS wins that. If this will be a wet race it will be amazing to see the driving techniques of the drivers without traction control.

I know man... I've been giddy since button came out and said "i'm very very scared"... not verbatim but that was the jist of his statement. I still can't stop laughing though with regards to massa getting the pole... the man who apparently gets nervous on difficult tracks or if racing under pressure actually sets a trail blazer of a lap... i betcha raikkonen is going to want to drink the same kool aid massa is drinking before the race...
