Geely FC2.. another example of Chinese improvement

Sir our local car are tested by ordinary peoples as car maker in pakistan ask buyer (IS CAR KO AGG,HAWA,MITI,or PANI say bachaeen)other wise no gurantee on these cars:P

@pkaa, as far as my information in concerned they have shut their outlets. The website is under construction since ages, however some times back even the domain was expired but they have brought it back online. according to some unofficial sources they were supposed to relaunch in Jan 2010 with a range of vehicles shown on their website however still no hopes. But i do see newly registered Geely CKs here once in a while which are being sold by private showrooms. lets see if they have any plans to get back to life or not.

Geely is working in Dubai...In pakistan Geely CK is moving,but local manufacturers wont let it to flourish,as it is very cheap...Toyota ,Civic mkt wil decrease.hope it will flourish,as in khi it is being sold...cheap car of 8 lac for common man...

The older interior is a copy of 2006 corolla and the newer is of 2009 corolla.bloody copy cats.Front is like Hyundai Sonata.Engine is the exact replica of local SE Saloon.Chinese cars and cell phones both have a cheaper cost value but no resale value.its the second big producers but mostly are consumed with in China itself.and u guys know their population.

doesnt matter if looks like a sonata or have an engine of toyoota or something,for a start this is really good coz they ll improve on such things.
big car manufacturers have developed their businnes in decades and they will too.
and its also nice that they are being sold mainly in china the y are serving their nation.

if our pakistani people are so good why dont they make a copy of something.and make it cheap also.the people would really appreciate that

EC715 - launching soon

Geely are busy preparing their EC8 series for the Emgrand line, but they do have another model in store, the EC715. Whilst to Western consumers the Geely line up of vehicles seems confusing, especially using serial numbers instead of car names it is actually quite simple once you understand it. E stands for Emgrand, C for Car, the first number is the series no and the second two numbers are engine size. So, EC715 means its an Emgrand Car from the seventh series and its 1.5L displacement, easy!

The EC7 series was so far available in 1.8L form, but the introduction of the EC15 is likely to improve sales to those that require a sub 1.6L vehicle to tax advantage of the lower sales tax on sub 1.6L vehicles. The engine power from the 1.5L block is set as 78kW (106BHP) at 6000rpm and produces a max torque of 135Nm at 4000rpm. Of course it will be available in manual only first, but then a DSI sourced automatic will find its way into the Emgrand at a later stage.

The CVT gearbox is from Belgium Punch VT2 type CVT with 6-speed manual mode. The EC7 still uses GETECJLγ-4G18 1.8-liter Geely engine, its maximum power is 102kW (139 hp) / 6200rpm, and maximum torque is 172 N-m/4200rpm.

EC7 will be available in 9 different colors to choose from. In the configuration, the EC7 CVT focuses on a relatively high cost features, such as electric sunroof, electric heated exterior mirrors, headlight auto-sensing control system, leather seats, automatic climate control air conditioning, etc. ABS + EBD, ESP, front dual safety airbags are standard equipment.

Main competitors for the EC7 & EC7-RV would be Chery A3 sedan & A3 hatch, and Brilliance FSV sedan & FRV hatch!
