Generator Engine Overhauling & ATS Dedicated Thread ( Advice , DIY, Repair ,Install)

I am new to this forum, can any one help me. I have 2 kva jassco generator last year I got it overhauled,few days back it started to make problem,even now it starts on half crank at petrol and shifts easily to gas as well but when load is put on generator (not every time) it starts to vibrate till that extend that one will feel gen is going to close (i feel this is not due to load, i believe it is gas setting) and then pick up and run normally I check spark plug its full of carbon and this is happening quite often, previously never happened. Voltage also drop as load is gradually put on (from 230 to 218, from 2 fans and a tv plus two tube lights to 6 fans and 4 tube lights and tv plus computer) and oil level is decreasing to i have to add on 250 ml every week to maintain oil level, previously. I never added oil and use to change oil in every 15 days. today morning i have noticed that unused (unused because it was red in color as i use havoline 20-50) oil drops (its was more than a drop u can say 10 to 20 ml)on the floor below the air filter and carb side, just 3 days back i have drained old oil and re fill it with new. Any suggestion I think it's a intake valve leak, i want to be damn sure before to open head.

check governor arm if its working, a little spring attached to it is in place. it is responsible for increasing the rpm when load increases.
sometimes spring breaks, sometimes governor arm needs adjustment. try increasing the rpm a bit, last option is governor "gharari" inside the engine is not working....

check tappet clearance to resolve oil drop issue,
then valves,
oil on spark plug can be due weak rings......

yesterday i opened up my generator head,both valves were dripping badly, got it repaired from kharadia. ran on petrol for 2 hrs smoothly, no oil traces were found below air filter and carb area any more till now but will monitor it.services governer spring and replace one which i think was slightly lose. voltage is still dropping, can it be the issue of weak AVR?, i believe their is nothing as weak in electric equipment either they are good or bad, plz comment.
one more thing can this voltage drop be due to load after all it is 2 kva generator and i am using above mentioned load which is reasonably high.

i think it is because of tappets are tight, check the clearance then check valves..

litraly i am getting fed of this thing blow by was becasue of head head got leaked got it fixed from a khairadia i said to install standerd size valves but he insisted on oversized ones so the oversized were installed generator worked fine for one day and today it started missing on gas with duk duk duk sound chked valve clearence plug gap ht coil ng kit adjustment nothing helped missing is started after the engine gets hot for like if it runs for around 15-20 mins what to do now ?

fluctuating voltage is bad AVR. replace carbon brush as well cost Rs 40 only.
the gen rpm fluctuates on the instance when load is applied then governor comes and everything stabilizes, otherwise if its unable to take load, gen will shut off.
one more thing, monitor the 4 bolts of tappet cover, they get loose very often.
in my case i tight them everyday when ever i open the cover because they get loose. then after about one week these bolts get the firm grip and remain tight. don't know why but it happens.

i have heard that jasco has introduced a new type of head that have some sort of oil spraying mechanism on valves,
i haven't seen it but heard it

got the head fixed the guy said run it on petrol its been ages that this thing was last run on petrol now it is not idling on petrol as it is on NG i am thinking of going for a new head if this time it doesn't work new one is costs 900 complete head right now its running but i am not satisfied with the idling

burnt some 2 liters of petrol then converted to gas and now what :? not idling even on gas its fine on high rpm no missing what so ever but when the rpm is lowered it starts missing i am clueless what to do what not to do

one head was costing 900 other 950 lets see what happens if it continued this i will go for a new head btw @moizirfan bro need your help my ats is also messed up actually was not home for some time​when i came back ats was not working wiring messed up and relays dead just need the diagram for makeing it again i have lost the diagram

which one direct gas start or petrol start and conversion to gas which I am using.
i have wrapped my ats in polythene bag and it has survived lots many rains.

right now m working on auto oil top up and auto oil change.

so it all ended up in disaster head was not the main culprit head was fine this tym but i thought it was the head the reality was revealed when i removed the tank and opened the engine broken engine block+broken connecting rod , oil sensor and dip stick went to the generator market bought new rings engine block connecting road oil sensor and gaskit while fitting i came to know that piston is also damaged but it was too late to go and buy a piston i don't know what the actual cause was price of the parts were

Engine block= 1700
Rings=230
Oil switch= 150
Connecting rod=200
Oil seals=60
Engine Packing=150

when i start it on self it back fires and on kick it statrs without a problem
due to back firing i changed plugs 3rcie but after a month or so it strts backfiring again
also i changed oil form 10 40 to 20w 50 and after that battery seems down like it takes thaka hwa self
also every thing else is fine when its running no issue in any other part
recenlty changed AVR, Self switch battery was bought in april brand new but its thakii hoi agian

hey guys i made some tweak, i think its worth sharing with you guys.

as some time we need to run our generator on petrol also so i just managed petrol start ATS.

i placed a plastic fuel bottle and fixed the petrol solenoid on the frame.
so far i am having trouble with reduced gas pressure, i think i just figured it out

that may be because i place the gas pipe on the bend side of T connector. so in first attempt i am going to alter the fuel pipe to bend side of T connector and gas and carb on straight line.

back fire is due to spark plug, just adjust its gap and clean carbon on its plate.

i got many plugs laying around ngk v power discarded after 2 months of use
