Hello!

I have been facing a strange starting issue in my generator for past few days. It is a pain in the head to start he gen. on petrol as well as gas. Generator takes self but dies down. It is a bit better on petrol but on gas it starts after 5 6 attempts by using the choke as well as the button on the gas kit. However, this problem is severe only when starting in the morning after a night's rest. Rest of the day, it is better. Apart from this issue, it is absolutely fine. Tappets, plugs have been checked and serviced. Battery is fine too. I called a mechanic but this problem didn't come up in front of him.

I think the problem is in the carburetor get it cleaned i dont know for sure

The mechanic did clean the carb during the last service, don't know if he messed something up there. If there is some fault in carb, then it will not work on gas too or just petrol?

salam..Guru im having a problem with my solenoid in loncin 2500 watt generator.......sir generator self does not works when i put self on starter motor starts and it movies on but it does not touch flying wheels so when i put direct cable battery positive to starter motor it works fine it means self is fine and there is some problem with the solenoid wiring ////

How to Adjust gaskit

1> run generator without load and turn Off the petrol, and wait untill you feel petrol near to end, (generator sound tells you)
2> now generator petrol near to end, Open NG (Gas)
3> adjust the load screw tight/lose untill engine run smooth on Gas. wait little bit untill generator 100% on gas run.
4> now again start tight (clock wise) the load screw, keep observing engine sound. when you feel generator become unstable, at that point open (counter clock wise) the 1 to 2 turn, at that point generator run on Maximum RPM with good sound.
5> now apply load on generator, if its OK then recheck and tight the all screws. if you feel dose not carry full load, you may open 1/2 turn (counter clock wise) load screw.

Most of our kits gives you best start with factory adjustment. if need you may adjust from " Start adjust" screw

Sir, you have said that there would be no need to install solenoid valve. That means that I would be able to keep my gas valve on all the time and gas would not leak from the kit? and it would enter the carburetor as soon as I would self start the generator.. right?

Absolutely right, our gas kit tested for this situation, and we recommend this for auto start (ATS)

I have a question but it might not be relevant here but I'm still hoping someone will answer me. I have a Honda EP-3000 generator and want to sell it. How much can I get for it? It works completely fine and has got gas kit installed as well. It reduces oil though.

here i am confused i redid my engine as there was a problem with crank and rod after replacing the rod rings and getting the rod polished my gen starts smoking from breather after running for 45-50 min confused no smoke from exhaust

Hi! all just got Blitz Gas Conversion kit direct from the manufacturer gastech. Installed it as per instructions and worked fine meaning no leakage and starts on gas and on top of it the load adjustment and start are very fine tuned not like other kits in which you keep on turning the nuts and bolts and hardly anything happens. So in all well satisfied with the performance. I am sure it will work all who use ATS. Do share your experience with the kit.
