No it is still in progress every thing ready i have to just put bavk each and every thing i started this about two days ago i guess on sunday

as the piston was in good shape so i am using it again i got it checked from a mechanic he asked me to change the rings only of the same size

just ask the shop keeper to give the required part by telling 2.5kv or 5kv what ever your genne is

Intake is on the right side. Exhaust valve is on the left towards the exhaust muffler.

Clearance is to be set when engine is cold.

It should be written on your manual. Depends on engine.

e.g my manual says.

valve retainer of exhaust valve is fitted on the intake valve ,,,,,,,,,,,,replace it before starting , check the pic which i attach,,,,,,,,,,

To open valves you have to use valve spring compressor tool. Whats the cost of that.
And of T shaped rod and feeler gauges?

in generator you dont need such tool

Carb is good.
Without load the RPM increases and suffocation is only on load.
One more thing that the generator is consuming oil. NO SMOKE but oil is also leaking from tappet cover.

oil leaking from tappet cover jan or from the breather pipe ? ............no solution if its leaking from breather pipe,,,,,,,,,,,have you check the governor gear inside the crank case ,,,,,,,,,,are you sure governor is working properlly ?>

in normal condition when i start generator i put off all lights fans and tvs and when generator started then i start putting load by starting fan lights and tv .... this is what told my generator wala and technician ....

By using ATS .. can this senairio can me accomplish .... how to apply load slowly .. when kesc gone generator start by ATS and lights fans & tv will start automatically all together and this will apply huge load all of sudden to generator ... am i right ?

you cant start the generator with heavy load,,,,,,,,,but few fans and lighs wont creat any problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,in my case lights and fans switches on as soon as generator start giving output but other appliaces like fride Tv deep freezer AC are all fitted with timers ,,,,,,,,,,,,

yes sit it is firing sound from exhaust.. sir its a brand new generator so im not expecting lose bush/bearing...

yes im using original spark plug that come with it...havent cheked it condition...

no geses leaking...that THA THA sound is not continuous just comes when the ac is turned on..

replace the spark plug with ND ,,,,,,,,problem will be solved,,,,,,,,

what should be the tappet clearance. and how to identify which one is intake and which one is exhaust?

0.10 mm for intake and 0.15 for exhaust,,,,,,,,dont consider the honda instruction manual which you see on net ,,,,,,,here we are dealing with copied chinese generator,,,,,,,,,,,,,also dont consider the manual which you get along with the generator

how to adjust governor lever and whats the function of governor in the generator ?

my gen is open again,during running my gen governer grari broke while gen was still runnng it ruined all the engine,metal and plastic pieces of governer grari damaged the cylinder block ,connecting rod,so i decided to change them all bcs cylinder block was beyond repairing,block cost me 1600 and taiwan road 500,governer grari 250,now i have assembled the gen again and so far its working fine,will post detailed pic soon

i have JD generator, i have used it for about 200 hours. it has given me a problem that it is running smoothly, starting and stopping normally but it is not giving any power output. also not showing any voltage on generator voltmeter. i have checked the current on the wire that is coming from the generator into the circuit breaker of the generator, it is not giving any current (means problem is not with circuit breaker). any help please.
