just like others said, use vehicle without ac and check for the performance. If the hic-cup or bog down at sudden throttle without ac persist you need vehicle scanned.

For ac you shall try Quick cool umair for the ac work, he can arrange oem compressor for you, Thal has their workshop & warehouse over the same street for AC work by appointment only.

Happening with AC too I’m feeling lag after 2000 rpm like you try to floor after 2000 rpm there is power loss lag between 2000 to 2500 for mili seconds.
One thing more I have notice that sometimes I park the car for while and start it my rpm goes higher for sometime them gradually comes down even if car is warm.
And in the morning on cold start when I start the car and it slow comes down after reaching some temperature but there I seen a strange thing that below 1000 rpm the rpm needle takes dip to reach Ideal Idling rpm.

So, I went to this Irshad at Jameel auto.
I explained him things then he said what else you have got done or changes and told him got fuel pump changed 3 times and basic tuning is done then he said dis you got the complete assembly change or just alone pump I said pump only they he said to get the whole fuel pump assembly changed which was for 16000.
I asked him how you can tell that fuel pump is bad he said most common issue comes in fuel pump and fuel filter so change of assembly is recommended.
I said why not to check for fuel pressure then he said he don’t have equipment to check.
No I ask him why to hook up a scanner and get things if there is any fault he denied and sticked to one statement of getting fuel assembly changed.
As fuel pump assembly wasn’t available with so he would have go to some shop and buy it.
Then I left him and search for the shop has that have fuel pressure test equipment and finally found one.
He started to test process and told me that pressure is 48 to 49 psi at cranking as hin per its OK and he also offered me free scan and will share codes with me.
After scan there were two DTC codes for Intake temperature circuit high p0113 and mass airflow circuit low volts p0102.
As I have got MAF sensor changed currently I’m not getting any sort if Issues yet will observe it for couple of days.

if the air filter is OEM new 1 possibility is zero, IAT sensor may have gone kaput.

I asked him how you can tell that fuel pump is bad he said most common issue comes in fuel pump and fuel filter so change of assembly is recommended.

he needed a good trashing for that without opening up and testing the pump assembly.

is your vehicle fuel pump original or someone did jugaroo modification from other vehicle ? offered you to save monies accept his skill work.

i was there at Jamil autos 3.45 pm with a LC Prado 2700 for scanning.

I have no idea about its age as I bought this car used. BTW car have clocked 93700 kms yet. Also I have swapped with Kabli one as new was Chinese available 7500.
It costs 17900 from Toyota that is way out of budget.

Yes but does this make any difference if fuel pressure is OK.
I have got the fuel pump of city 2009 so the filter and pump fitted into stock assembly of corolla. Something is working and doing it’s job shouldn’t be questioned further.
I still have question for Irshad why he didn’t have fuel testing gauge if having pro levels of skills and that’s very basic thing to have.

that is very valid question. test equipment shall be part of diagnostic tools.

Critical equipment like maf and afr sensors should always be replaced with brand new original part, not scrapyard or made in rural china. Its quite easy to destroy the engine that way.

And if parts are too expensive, find another affordable brand. I wonder if you are also one of the people who assume that toyota genuine parts are supposed to be low cost.

Do you know alternate brand that is cheaper compare to hell expensive from Toyota.
The one I have Installed was in real good shape like it was hardly used
