I always see people overspeeding there. IMHO, the police slacks off, and fails to enforce the speed limit.

If you're not attentive enough to keep your speed low, you might need to revisit your driving methodology.

A few years ago I bought after market disk pads of Asuki for my Grande. The shopkeeper told me the same brakepads are used on revo as well

Even Suzuki Cultus and Suzuki Wagonr have different spec brake pads, I wonder what kind of choona was he trying to fit you with saying HILUX and Corolla use same brake pads.

Next time when I will order Corrolla brake pads, I'll tell the Corrolla owner that sir revo kay brake pads lagwa lein, they will act like brembo and it would be very easy for him to stop the car at a 10% slope angle, and his car won't over speed, and this way he won't be served two challans.

Most accidents there are caused by heavy vehicles- trucks and buses with no maintenance and their brakes end up failing.

For cars the limit there should be around 60-70.

What about driving CVTs on S or L for longer periods?

I remember reading a member’s post a while ago that he had a transmission oil temp gauge installed in his honda city and while driving in S or L in Nathiagali the oil temperature rose to levels which it shouldn’t (can’t recall the exact details) so please shed some light on such scenarios since cvts are prone to such issues.

its quite simple.

Dont use CVT to ascend or descend a hill. They are made for very gentle driving on flat plane.

That is a point needed to be taken up by ministry of transport - so they can enforce proper road vehicle laws and regulations. (this requires that they be educated first and can actually read and write)
