Grande 2018 vs 2019

Aoa everyone,

(Post is related to Grande)

I wanted to ask if there is any difference in features/shape between the 2018 (October) model and the current 2019 model.

Furthermore, what would be the suitable price for a 2018 (October) Grande in very good condition (mileage is 10,000 km) ?

There's no difference in Grande FL 2018 and 2019.
Price should be somewhere between 33-34 lacs.

I own Grande June 18 delivery. I heard that after Sept 18, three additional features were added.
1. Light in glove box
2. Auto door lock/unlock option.
3. Free Toyota connect with data SIM for 6 months

In 2019 the only difference was 2gb android unit. Rest was same after august 2018 i.e glovebox light, auto door lock on speed etc

2018 late model cars in good condition are available for more than 35 lacs

Overall prices are so so high...35 is normal asking price for clean pieces

Someone should just Nuke Indus toyota they really suck.
Small minor changes in all their products which you find out and its really disappointing.

2017 owners dont get 2 gb navigation and suffer the sucky 1 gb one and if you make noise they give free upgrade.
There was a time corolla had push start but fortuner did not, really sucked for people who bought fortuner.

Now toyota connect is only available in corolla, fortuner and hilux owners can suck it.. not sure about camry.

Small minor things which one expects to be present but NO indus is just too sucky to give it to you.

Still indus is way better than other manufacturers. Comparing all the choice we have in local market, Indus anyday!

While imc needs a lot of improvement, still their models are much more featured than any other local brand. Atleast major features are now present.

I have to replace my car and have the Grande in mind. I can wait for 3-4 months, but can’t buy new because the prices have shot up and new out of reach now. If I wanted to buy a low mileage 2017/18 FL one, would it be a good time to buy now, or should I wait a few months for the year change and then buy, if the prices are supposed to come down.

What are the things to look for when buying a used one with less than 25K mileage.

It doesn’t look like prices will come down, rather go up. A clean used FL 2018 white grande will set you back at 3.3-3.4M.

Under 20k driven Grande 2018 end is around 3500- 3500k ..all depends on mileage and condition. No uograde to model was made after August 2018. Prices will not decrease, they may just not increase. Btw Sales will gradually pick some momentum as no increase actually is positive sign for public normally

In oct 2018 i had an offer of dec 2017 FL grande 9000 kms driven for 2.8m.
I thought it's too expensive for its price and the same guy sold it after 8 months at 20,000kms on odo for 3.2m.

So brother, if you're thinking if prices may drop, you may end up paying few more lacs

True in some cases, for extremely low mileage ones. A friend was searching grande recently a month ago and he bought one with 5000kms on odo 2018 dec model and 2019 regd for 3475. It also has brand new Continental tyres worth 50k. So imo one can find decent grande 2018 in 3.3-3.4M price tag. Demands are like 3.5-3.6M also but the actual selling price for most cars is in between 3.2-3.4M.

That's a good deal. M surprised why he changed tyres...yokos are pretty decent already. May be he got seriously good offer for oem ones

I sold my Corolla Gli Automatic 2017 around a year ago for 20 lakhs silver colour 26k driven first owner and same car now easily sells for 23-23.5 lakhs. Used car saw a difference of 3-4 lakhs and brand new ones got expensive around 8-10 lakhs. At this point, sale is definitely low but prices are not low and doesn’t seem in future they’ll decrease.
