You can do it. First interval should be short then regular 5000km is good . Even you can use it for 8000km.

That’s cool. I hardly drive 3k km per year, will have to constantly keep changing I guess at 6 months period.

@haseeb.basharat brother i have done tuning of my grande at 75k km, throttle and plugs cleaned. Plugs are ok. Air filter is fine i changed my oil Quartz 9000 5w30 with genuine oem oil filter 5 months ago and its 4500km used now. I went to oil place where i used to change it and they said its fine i can still use it like 2k kms more but i normally change it on 5k interval. After doing tuning done by local workshops ( as i don’t want to waste my money by going to dealership) i am facing average issue. Prior to tuning it was giving easily around 11.5 on normal foot (sometimes heavy) within city but now its under 10 both on meter and also tank filling method. The major service on car has been done at 63k km by previous owner from corolla that includes cat cleaning and all other essential services mentioned in there chart. can you please guide what might be wrong here. I am facing a little lag on heavy foot as well. What i think is that i should change engine oil now but I don’t know it will solve the issue.o

That was the only thing that you did wrong.
Check its plugs, purchase them from partscentral:

Each plug cost 2000rs. Most probably your mechanic fiddled with plugs.

Previous owner changed its cvt oil or not?
Check if wheel alignment is fine or not.

Plugs are perfectly fine i have seen the tips myself and he has not done any adjustments to the plugs just removed cleaned them cleaner and puts back, CVt was changed almost 4k km ago from lubeshop as you have directed.

Everything is fine just before doing the tuning, after tuning the Rpms rose to 1100 from 800 but after some days they gets back to normal 700,800. I poured high octane and it’s resolved the issue of Rpms.

I replaced the oil in Toyota Altis 1.6 a week ago original Toyota filter which cost me Rs.1000 and 4 liters of total Quartz engine oil for RS. 3950. You can bought original engine oil from total pumps,It involves bargaining

Hi bro engine oil capacity of Toyota Altis 1.6 is 4.2l with filter but I changed it a few days ago, when I poured 4 liters, the oil gauge was showing on the second dot on the dipstick after starting the car so I didn't put 0.2l.tho koe masla tho nahi hoga???

Get ecu scanned through scanner. Reset idle learning value.

Check the dip stick again before starting in the morning. If level is fine, you are OK.

Sure i will go for that, i also noticed the average on MID changes more frequently. Could it be due to some sensor issue on throttle?
