GS 500e standing for 7 years

I have a gs500e 2001 model. It was in fully working condition till 2015. Had to park it as went out of Rawalpindi and couldn't take it along. Thinking of getting it functional now. But am worried about how much it's going to cost me getting it back on road. Input required where to take it to for bringing it back on road? Some honest guy please as choona lagana waalay kafi hain in heavy bike mechanics as in jo kaam naheen bhi hota us ko bhi barha charha k estimate lagatay hain.

if you simply drain the engine oil and prime engine with new oil, add some fuel to tank. am sure it will start.

however to ride safely on road, like sir @xulfiqar always said there is a procedure about (any) vehicle for long term storage. which you may have not followed.

you may be requiring plenty of rubber parts for immediate replacement and the oil change comes first.

Firstly, get a new battery. Drain old fuel if there is any. Clean the air filter and do plugs inspection. If you can remove the carbs clean them using petrol. When done give it a crank for a few times.
I have seen my mechanic soak a piece of cloth in petrol and place it flat upon the air filter and then push the self starter (just make sure someone is firmly holding the piece of cloth on air filter else it would be sucked in and create further problems)

Reviving GS500e

so a cousin of mine had this bike catching dust and rust since almost 1-2 years ( Its a 1997 model, made a in japan one.later models are spanish) reason fuel tank leaked. it was given for repairs and my cousin left the country.on his return, the person was un traceable. leaving behind a bike without tank on it. my cousin also seem to have lost interest. i requested him to give it to me if i am able to find a tank for it.
