Colour codes of injectors are different in different models as which I had observed till 2010 both engines use same fuel injectors green ones and they both had same oem part number.
That's my research as I see same part number and do replace them a lot

i will not believe that until i see the data sheet, that they really increase the duty cycle to accommodate the required fuel.

I am not the person here to provide you with data sheets. By your comment it's clear you need some field work on engines physically.

No one would provide you with data sheets because it's useless for your understanding.

Are you serious ??? A person don't know about the fuel pump operation either it's operated on constant voltage he describe it that it worked on PWM. Is working on a map designed by factory or tempering the input signals for the piggy back and feeling happy that he has created a rocket.

PWM control pump still don't exist In toyota vehicles.
OK now comes toward your own thing.
Had you studied the PWM tech on some Internet or you had imagined on your own. Or it was brought up when you see that fuel pump is connected through ecu and it would be sending PWM signal to operates the pump and variate the pressure.

Fuel injectors on 1.3 and 1.5 are same on nz series

Now on the other hand on single line fuel system there is no such PWM control fuel pump which variate's the pump. The pump on single line fuel system operates at same pace where as there is a built in fuel pressure regulator in the filter housing assembly which maintains the 50 -60 psi pressure in the rail.

If you disconnect the pressure regulator and hook up the pump directly on the single lime yes it would die earlier.
