sir...even 9th gen altis have a CAT con alongwith o2 sensor...most of guys didnt believe until shown pics....even manual says is clearly, but we as nation think that its the most irrelevant n useless document when comes to car maintenance, the USTAAD jee has given verdict....go for 20W-50

if u smell a strange burnt ether.paint like smell in morning after startup.....the car have a CAT conv....simple

You already have them

Don’t shop with your wallet. But rather pay for quality. Oil pressure is always tested with a mechanical gauge before the pump is confirmed to be bad

That was in the versions before 2005 , his is the last version of 1ZZ engines . He doesnt have the rings issue . No need to misguide.

Dont dive in directly. Get an obd2 scan , most prolly the ECU will tell you what's wrong .

My car doesn't reduces oil so I don't think it suffers from these issues..

That was the early one with the very small oil drain holes in the oil ring pack, they were never sold in Pakistan

The later ones dont suffer from that issue but have timing chain tensioner failure issues
