In this state, i doubt that it will work even as a spare. unless you get it fixed.

The engines made after 2005 , 2006 and so on fixed it by making more small oil holes in the piston where the oil rings sat , preventing sludge ...

Service the throttle body and IAC .
Replace the intake manifold gasket.
Open and service the PCV valve in the valve cover to replace if faulty.
Check pcv valve piping and other vacuum hoses for vacuum leaks .

Sir in my 1ZZ motor , startup rpm is high , goes to about 2200 rpms but then reduces to 1800 while the engine warms up . Throttle body and IAC in perfect condition .. what could cause this ?

This is normal

It should maintain an 800 rpm idle once warmed up unless someone has messed up the throttle stop (favorite time pass of Pakistani mechanic)

How to get the throttle stop to perfect position? Let engine warm up , adjust and check ? Also , while driving in first , it bogs down and sometimes bursts forward even though I've depressed the throttle pedal at a fixed position... could this be fuel pump ?

Will get the intake manifold gasket, pcv valve, vacuum pipes once lockdown is over.. Right now it's running perfectly fine.. So I am not in a mood to mess..

Thats not a fuel pump but a vacuum leak issue

I have a personal OBD2 updateable scanner . No codes were detected .

There is far more to diagnose than just read codes

The engine was swapped into a 1987 Toyota Corona . So definitely agree .

Hahaha, I've 2 Toyota Coronas , one a later model as well . Corona virus got nothing on us

Its so much easier to maintain than other engines . Nothing goes wrong with them . I bought a manual one and then opened it up head to block . Eventhough people will think that's a bad move but kabali engines are never to be trusted.found wear and tear , did a complete overhaul at home , then swapped it in .
