Help ! Engine Swap in Platz

Need to swap engine in my platz (Currently its 1sz-fe)as the current engine got heatup due to a leakage in the radiator and I got the Gaskit changed, now the car is not accepting the gaskit or maybe my mechanic has done something wrong while fitting the Gaskit. On long routes with AC ON, car starts to Boil the water and after sometime heats up.

Now after doing my homework and visiting multiple mechanics, I got to know that changing Gaskit in these cars in not beneficial instead change the engine block to avoid troubles.

I need a Solution to this issue. If you recommend to Swap my Current 1sz-fe (1000 cc) than which engine should i go for ? 2SZ-FE or 1NZ-FE ?

Yes, once same overheat issue happened with my vitz 2001 1sz, mechanic told me that these engines have got very very thin head gas kits, so the chances of getting it done right are quite less, thats why here mechanics recommend to change half assembly.

Go for 1Nz with auto trany, u will enjoy your car much more. It will cost you almost between 60-80k Rs. for swapping in new 1nz with complete uncut wiring, labor & after giving away your old engine, gear. If you are not an Auto transmission fan, then u also have an option of manual gear.

Actually 2sz is also a good option but as we all know that toyota xli/gli also uses 2Nz engine, so NZ series engine is "easy to understand" for our local mechanic, they know each & everything of these engines due to Xli factor and parts for this engine are also easily available in our markets.

And swapping 1nz in your car is not going to be a major swap because you don't need to alternate any mounts. You just need a clean engine with complete uncut wiring, ECU, good mechanic & best electrician in town. Although You just need to upgrade your suspension & brakes for better handling & driving experience.

What is the cause of hesitation and high consumption in 1nzfe,mechanic changed throttle body and cleaned maf senser after that problem rises...

he either messed up the sensor or some throttle body mechanism, an ecu scan will reveal the reason.

Why not the 2nz-fe 1.3 or 2sz-fe 1.3 of vitz?
1nz-fe is 1.5 so lot of power for this hatch & he doesn't need that much power for daily use. I think it will also be little expensive then the 1.3l

Or maybe only the head assembly of 2sz-fe will work along with the old gearbox, wiring & Ecu.

In Peshawar 1Nz complete engine with auto gear costs u 80k + 10k labour expenses + 10k other miscellaneous expenses.
But do your homework for the swap before going for it, make your mind first because you may also get victim of those desi nitto tape electricians, who just wire up your engine to start and move the car. So prepare yourself first, read some threads of other members who swapped the same or related engine, download wiring diagrams in your pc. So after that you would be able to start the swap.
I will also help u in providing some basic ECU wiring diagrams of 1Nz

Get the plugs replaced first. Before putting new throttle, did your mechanic also washed that throttle ?
Seems like a vacuum leak in the intake system, which causes hesitation in acceleration, check for any leaks over all the vacuum pipes. Also check for any leak in fuel injectors.
Is it showing any check light ? BTW which car we are talking about ?

Dear actually his ride is platz, which is sedan & quite heavier than vitz, thats why recommended him 1Nz. And prices of both 1nz & 2nz are same in Peshawar, so why not 1nz with a power punch.
And according to my experience 1nz is more fuel efficient than 2nz.

Yes that may be a good and economical idea. But I am not sure if 1sz gearbox will be fully compatible with 2sz one.

Yes he washed,its been one year plugs are new from toyota, its giving around 6kml in city n 10 kml in long.. Injector are checked and washed having vitz injectors for economy.. Engine is installed 2years ago.. Running on 5w_20 oil..

Dear if you have iridium plugs then just get them cleaned & if common denso or NGK plugs then get them replaced asap. I used to replace plugs in my car every 4-6 months BTW I used those ordinary plugs not iridium.
In which car you got this engine swapped ??? Was the swap done properly ? Is the ECU properly wired up with all the sensors ?
What about check engine light ? Is it connected with meter cluster ? Did you get your car hooked up with scanner for error codes & sensor values ?

In corolla 2005,all senser are connected as i take the connector off car idle become low... Plug are common one installed a year go
