There is no automatic launching anytime soon, simple. That is what I know from sources. You will find out what I am saying is true in a few weeks. Auto transmission is not some out of the world technology that Paksuzuki needs time and R&D to figure out if it suits Pakistan. The world over auto and manual variants of the same car are launched simultaneously. The same is the case with Honda and Toyota in Pakistan as well.
I am only trying to clear misconceptions about what people are guessing and expecting. The Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) setup of this car is only made in India and designed by Maruti. Due to restrictions on import of auto parts from India the AMT variant is out question. Paksuzuki does not have the capacity to manufacture AMT locally. There is no 4-speed AT setup for this car available and Paksuzuki wont invest to make a 4-speed AT just for Pakistan given their track record. They only introduce outdated technology in the country.
Only CVT is a possibility and Paksuzuki has no plans for that at the moment. There is no confirmation it will launch later as well just like with the Wagon R there is still no auto available despite the fact that years have passed since it launched.
