First off, Toqeer, Thanks for asking. The environment your car is exposed to is harsh to say the least in terms of salt, moisture / humidity coupled with sand and not to mention the UV rays near coast lines. Regular maintenance like washing, polishing and waxing will help but will not be able to remove surface oxidation or fine corrosion after some time. Since you have personally noticed that the car's paint finish is not what it was about a year ago, I'd suggest you do a complete detailing session if you got the time. I could guide you step by step also and trust me it's not complicated at all except for the buffing with a polisher part in case you haven't tried that before. If possible please post pictures of your Elantra here in good light so that other respected members could also guide you along the way.

Jet Seal is one of my favorites. Applied it in May's first week, still has presence on the paintwork. I highly doubt any sealant would last 12m in Pakistan even if you ensure due diligence in washing step.

That's what I said earlier too. It's not a wrong claim (for the US) but here in our environment I'd be a happy camper even if it endured 6 months at which point I could safely claim that it's worth the money. Its a five star product otherwise. Provided the paint has been accurately prepped for the Jet Seal and that it is applied/bonded as per the guidelines. Rest, diligence as you said is very important in maintaining the actual detailing carried out once. Because what most of us think is that after lamination (not the correct term by the way) the car becomes invincible in the face of bird droppings, etched water marks, UV rays and improper use of stupid cloth resulting into swirl marks. No sir, that's what us detailers claim and like you to believe in order to pocket some greens.
Take for example @autophile. His Corolla has been done once and I'm sure it will remain like this Inshallah for another year or two because of the way he understands and maintains the vehicle.

It's difficult to work with much attention to detail and take snaps with a DSLR simultaneously. But it's on the cards soon. Getting a remote for the new camera which while mounted on tripod will remotely take photographs. Another alternative is to use my smartphone to remotely control and take the pictures from the DSLR through the Canon iOS app. Stay tuned. Many friends approaching for HD detailing. New products coming in for cutting and durable sealants too.

Reqd ur guidance first keep thing in mind i use to get my car washed every week with shampoo (any aval for hairs :p) and wax with formula one....taken guidance from ahmad bhai and he suggested me products of nano skin.
One question i read from ur forum that never do dry dusting. Now i ve a driver which daily clean my vehicle in morning , please tell me what should be done to clean vehicle on daily basis.. off course daily washing is not possible considering morning time and its like giving tough time to him... so suggest me how to clean it daily

Thanks for the appreciation. I'd strongly recommend the 2-Bucket or even the 3-Bucket method. Many of us, specially @autophile follows it. It's a super formula for a clean and shiny car without having to worry to the bone about swirl marks and scratches. Just teach your driver by giving him demo and supervise him for a week at least. You won't have any trouble.
The method has been nicely explained by @autophile (Masroor Bhai) in post number 92 on Page 5 of this thread.
Personally, I follow this method about twice a week apart from a thorough wash once a week or maybe on requirement basis. I won't straight away recommend to you the rinse less washes or stuff like Meguiar's Wash and Wax Anywhere, they don't come in cheap and are not affordable in the long run. But i'm trying to come up with a formula in some time. Nevertheless, I still would keep a Wash and Wax Anywhere in the car for those special moments when you would like to show off some bling.

Klasse covered over by Fusso and 476 will definitely last a year and a third coating of a show car wax will do the trick

I just didn't wake up one morning and exclaimed, Hey! You know what, everybody is detailing, lets just jump into the bandwagon. I've been doing this since 2009 on my own cars and that of friends/family. Many of you respected Pakwheelers have been a source of inspiration, information and learning throughout these years. Internet has been a great source apart from being stung by local service station guys and road-side wala detailers whose Autoshine tube worth Rs.150, Sunsilk shampoo sachets and yellow cloth (with whom they would proudly claim to have detailed a dozen Mercedes Benz). I exactly remember the times when original Cosmic or Soft 99 used to be the kings of the brands and Formula 1 shampoo the heart throb for many of us. Later came Turtle Wax and then Mothers at which point Mothers was like Wolfgang or Dodo Juice in Pakistani detailing world. Meguiars' was obviously for the richest.

Things have changed quite dramatically and in a good way. Meguiar's now stands where Mothers was back in 2011/12. Thanks to aggressive marketing as a result of Ahmed Yar and similar good people who shattered the monopoly of a few. But still we don't have easy access to other brands like Pinnacle, Wolfgang, Simoniz, Menzerna , Swisswax, Collnite etc for those who would like to explore the far side of the black hole primarily due to high costs and distributor/importer interests. Nevertheless, whatever is available is absolutely good enough for what we own, have and are capable of. One thing that we need to understand is that products that claim to be meant specifically for something are not always necessarily an eye-wash or marketing gimmicks. While great results can be achieved in the end, nevertheless, it is to be understood that despite the basics being same all around the world, every manufacturer has a peculiar standard, different suppliers of materials for primers/paint/clear coat and propriety series of processes while painting a car. And that somehow make it interestingly different in approaches towards paint preparation, rectification, treatment, protection or simply detailing. If you understand these basics, you are already 30% a detailer.

I do not wash my car everyday, just once a week and if it is not wet in rain, just spray waterless wash and wipe with a MF towel. A simple wash with good quality shampoo and finished with quick detailer keeps the car clean for three days easily.

I also do not wash or clean with waterless wash if there is a rain forecast for next day because it's useless. I always check weather forecast from MSN and Yahoo sites for my local area, if rain is forecast I postpone.

You can contact Ahmad bhai or Abdul Hayee bhai for the waterless wash. They have better and economical solutions, not that expensive like Meguiar's.

With just a couple of microfiber towels and waterless wash, you can daily clean your car in 20 minutes without washing and dry dusting.

By the way, it's called Spider Webbing. Notice the dirt/grime and spots etched into the paint. Yes, the phtograph has been taken after a good car wash.
