Well I don't have the pictorial proof as of right now but I will share my experience of owning a 1.8 Oriel for more than an year now (vehicle dispatch date 30 July 2016, delivery 5 August 2016) and 12,000 kilometres.
-The worst quality of seats, console and door panel fabric I ever saw on a car. Didn't think it to be so pathetic initially because display units were covered in polythene. But uffff, the quality, texture feel and everything is the worst I have ever seen. It didn't matter to me though as I got custom artificial leather seats as shared on other threads. Apart from that Honda should feel ashamed for the leather they offer as well. Its just some leather patches and rest is ghattiya grade rexine.
-There were slight gaps between dashboard and pillar but despite the fact it shows careless manufacturing its not much of an issue as that can't be seen when door is closed.
-Some people created an exaggerated downgradation of welds but in all honesty they did have some issues but not to the extent as fan boys joked about them. It was more of Samad bond type solution making them look ugly.
-Power window motor of driving side used to take years to roll back up. I claimed in warranty but by the time new motor came and I was called at the dealership. It had magically gone fine and normal in wind up speed by then. I am assuming had to do something with new/hard channel rubbers.
-The navi screen occasionally goes blank. Takes commands through steering but nothing on the screen, just blank. No matter what you do or what side menu you press, it just doesn't come back. The when you restart the car it goes fine. I didn't get it checked because I am sure as soon as I reach TW with this issue, that occasion won't arrive for it to go blank. This happens once a month on average.
-Cabin door light wasn't working with back door and turned out to be a faulty grip.
-The speaker board clips over bolts at rear didn't fit and clip properly and had to be grinded as the plastic moulds were not perfectly fitting in the space.
-The seat lumbar support is horrible. It occasionally makes you feel tired. Why Honda why so uncomfortable lumbar support area. The seats themselves are hard as well but my addition of thicker artificial leather made them softer though.
-Why is Atlas giving a thin pathetic urethane steering wheel on their flagship car
-The throw of original headlight bulbs is horrible compared to what it should be.
-And the amount of Orange peel and dullness, don't even get me started. One simply doesn't expect such massive paint correction in a new car
-The omission of an i-Mid in this model is a serious bummer. Instead of a promotion in the cluster, an advance feature has rather been expelled and fired in a newer model.
-The hood needs to be slam shut.
-The hood insulation sheet is flimsy. I got it changed once and its still as flimsy because initially I thought the shield in my car is a defective piece.
But apart from these issues overall I am happy with my decision. Room for improvement is there but these 3 BIG looters won't bother much because most buyers don't have an option.
If I am forgetting something I will try to add and edit later.
