Honda CD 70 vs CG 125 vs others for mileage & comfort

I'm 19 year old student and I'm thinking of buying a bike that I'll keep for next seven years. I'm confused about which bike to buy. CD100 aur CG125 Deluxe are not in my options. Thanks in advance
I have following queries.
[INDENT][INDENT]1. What is the average mileage of CD 70 and CG 125? 1 litre ma CD70 aur CG125 kitne kilometer chalte hain, i. long drive/motorway per ii. short drive/shehar k andar

2. Is there any difference between level of comfort? CG125 ke seat bari ha aur shocks be bare nazar aate hain. kia donon ko drive krte hue koi difference mehsos hota ha? kia CG125 zeyada comfortable ha?

3. Any other bike worth buying that has better balance between mileage and power. (China ka na ho aur na kise chawal company ka) Koi aur bike jo CD 70 se zeyada powerful ho leken mileage zeyada dota ho, 1 litre ma zeyada kilometer nikalta ho. Leken service center us company ka acha hona chaheye.

Buy a CG125.It looks nice and so it is fun to drive.Mileage difference would not be more then 3-4 Kmp/l.You will have good road grip,good comfort level and good performance.Though CG125 is loved by thief's and has higher chances of getting snatched.You will have to take great care of it buy installing a chor switch or anything similar

@asjdsm Mera maqsad difference vaseh karna tha. Mileage on motorway means mileage on a long route where u rarely need to aply brakes (constant speed)
Obvisiouly no bikes, khota rehre on motorway

CD 70 mileage btw 55-65, CD 125 mileage btw 40-45
125 is far more better, comfortable and fun to drive

i suggest u look at the option of suzuki GS150 too =)

Got another sound option DYL Junoon. Thinking about ditching CD70 for Junoon. :rolleyes:

CD 70 Avg 55 to 62 kmpl. When I sold, the avg was 53 kmpl

Instead of Junoon, Think to buy Yama 4

CG 125 creates more vibrations on higher RPM,s than a 70.
Comfort level of both of them is almost the same because both are having the same kind of hard seat.
CD 70,s suspension are a bit softer than the CG 125.
In the long run CG 125 takes the lead but for daily commuting in city CD 70 is a better choice.
Mileage of a properly tuned CD 70 is around 50~60km/litre.
For a CG 125 its around 40~45km/litre.
Do note that the mileage also depends alot on your way of driving.

Actually I like the sportier look of Junoon. (H) I've heard it gives 50+ mileage. Is it true? And I've serious reservations about the built quality of Junoon. Is it reliable? How is the built quality of Junoon?

@all I'm hearing rumors that the electric system of Junoon s*cks and it's front brakes are not reliable, moreover that it's accelerator/race might get stuck. Are these rumors true? And does it really give 50+ average?

Buy 125 .... Simple In Looks Rides Well ... Comfortable ..... reliable .... Good Resale Value too .... mileage Is Also Good ... Not Excellent But Good

Bhai yamaha mat lena, kyun ke jaisa ap bta rahe hain ke ye bike next 7 years tak apke pass hi rahe gi to yamaha is not a good option. ye bike rough and tough use ke liye nahi hai. go for honda cg125.. 125 ko aksar log badnam karte hain mileage k point of view se but mera apna experience hai ke bike achi rakhi ho to mileage kafi achi deti hai. or 125 comfort wise atleast yamaha se kafi behtar hai. baki ap ki marzi.. @ZEE991.....Brother i would like to buy u Yamaha janoon if it is in ur price range....i had this bike for more than a year..its gives an average of 50+ easily and goes upto 65+km/liter,depends upon road condition and ur way of drive...
Another reason of favouring this bike is that it has stylish look and has powerful engine as well.u have to take special care of it b/c it made up of mostly plastic...
FINALLY go and buy yamaha junoon...
