I am planning to buy Honda City 1.3 but confused that which one should I buy i-e manual or automatic. I am quite interested in automatic but need feedback from guys already having 1.3 automatic.
real joy of ride is in manual transmission with amazing millage. . .if you drive inside a city mostly then go for prosmatic. . .milleage of prosmatic is 8-9 kmpL in city but driving is easy and un-tiringKK
Prosmatic will give you around 10-11 km/l in city with ac. Manual gives around 13-14 km/l in city. Prosmatic will be far more comfortable to drive specially within city. It struggles a bit when you need to push and overtake someone on highway.
Prosmatec 1.3L: Comfort + ConvenienceManual 1.3L: Pure Pleasure + Great Mileage
If Some lady from House are too going to drive it go for Prosmatic 1.5, there is not much price difference and millage too are almost same,A quit nice ride,in City Areas Prosmatic is good as being stuck in Traffic jams is hard on manual
What is the mileage of 1.5 Prosmatic and 1.5 Manual?

Automatic is much better option for driving within city traffic (stop & go, stop & go).And it brings comfort on long routes too.Automatic City are CVT and give better fuel average (upto 15km/l) if right set of fluids is feeded.
1.3 auto is flop...resale is bad...
for auto buy 1.5 auto....
1.3 manual has best resale
Current Honda City in Pakistan is not CVT.

City iDSI (Istari) model (old shape) had CVT. Current shape model initially had 4AT transmission which was IIRC changed to 5AT Prosmatec (5th gear being overdrive gear for better economy on highway/motorway). It still has less mileage than manual transmission and gear change kick.
